Within the framework of the Corporate Management project finance , the Company BearingPoint designed and implemented a system of preparation and formation, consolidated management statements automation of the margin profitability model, planning systems and to budgetings harmonize actual, planned and group-level budgetary data reporting and harmonize reporting; improved data reliability and implementation of functionality for data reconciliation between enterprises. The main works performed within the framework of the project:
- Preparation of the methodology by EVRAZ specialists in cooperation with the BearingPoint team;
- SAP BW-BPS implements a budget model, within the framework of which data is collected and stored plan/actual/budget/forecast, as well as the construction of about 30 reports;
- The model of consolidation of management reporting in SAP SEM-BCS was built on the basis of the budget model data for consolidation of management reporting data and for the formation of 2 reporting packages (both by group companies and consolidated) in the amount of 38 reports;
- We have built a model for calculating the margin return on products using SAP BW the -BPS toolkit. The calculation of marginal profitability by products was carried out both individually by the enterprises of the group and by the group of companies as a whole;
- Implementation of the SAP SEM-BCS-based system for preparing consolidated IFRS statements is one of EVRAZ's major FAST CLOSE initiatives.
- During the project, mechanisms and procedures for reconciling data received from the company's enterprises were also implemented to further make high-quality management decisions on their basis.
The organizational framework of the project included 29 Evraz Group companies in Russia and abroad, and 4 business segments: metallurgical, mining, coal and service.
