2024: Passenger traffic growth of Kazan airport by 3.8% to 5.4 million people
Passenger traffic at Kazan International Airport in 2024 amounted to about 5.4 million people. This was announced in July 2025 by the press service of the air harbor. In 2023, the airport served about 5.2 million passengers, an increase of 3.8%. The most popular domestic destinations in 2024 were St. Petersburg, Mineralnye Vody, Novosibirsk and Sochi. High demand remains for flights to Moscow. The most popular international flights are Antalya, Istanbul, Dubai and Sharm el-Sheikh.[1]

2025: Passenger traffic of Kazan airport reached 5.4 million people
At the Kazan end of 2025, the passenger traffic of the International Airport amounted to 5.4 million passengers, as in 2024. This was announced in February 2026 by the head of Mindortranza Tatarstan Farit Khanifov. According to the data, 36 airlines operate flights from Kazan airport. Plans for 2026 include the construction of a third passenger terminal. The airport has a runway 3.75 thousand meters long and 45 meters wide, performs regular and charter flights to the Russia near and far abroad.[2]
