2023: Allocation of 1 billion rubles by Mishustin for the creation of field hospitals in the LPR, DPR, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions

In March 2023, the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order to allocate more than 1 billion rubles to ensure the work of field teams and field multifunctional hospitals that will provide medical care in,, and LPR DPR Zaporozhskaya Hersonskaya regions.

The subsidy will be received by medical organizations under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health of Russia and the regions. It is planned to form field teams and field multifunctional hospitals from specialists working in these structures, which will provide medical care to those in need, including specialized ones. It is assumed that federal and regional doctors will also help colleagues on the ground with organizational and methodological issues.

1 billion rubles allocated for the creation of field hospitals

According to the press service of the Cabinet, the practice of organizing field teams and mobile hospitals was tested during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic and proved its effectiveness. These measures made it possible to more quickly provide people with the necessary assistance.

From March 1, 2023, territorial compulsory health insurance funds began to operate in the LPR, DPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. At the same time, a law on the protection of health and circulation of medicines came into force, which guarantees citizens of new regions the provision of medical assistance, the provision of medicines and medical devices. In February 2023, President RFVladimir Putin noted that work to restore the social sphere is already underway in new regions of Russia, despite all the difficulties.

Earlier, the Acting Governor of the Kherson Region Vladimir Balance announced plans to build new medical centers on the left bank with modern medical and diagnostic equipment. He also announced the launch of mobile medical centers, where they will provide assistance to sick covid.
