2023: Delivery of heat-resistant video surveillance system
On March 7, 2023, the Roselectronics holding of Rostec State Corporation announced that it had supplied the Kama Metallurgical Combine with a heat-resistant video surveillance system capable of operating at temperatures up to 1600 ° C. The equipment is designed for remote continuous monitoring of metal melt, flame of burners, as well as the state of internal surfaces of high-temperature furnaces.
The digital video camera included in the system is protected by a two-circuit water-cooled stainless steel casing, which allows the equipment to operate continuously under high temperatures. To prevent dust and flame from entering the glass of the video camera, the space in front of it is blown with compressed air. In the event of an abnormal situation, for example, disconnection of water, air supply or power, light and sound alarms are turned on, and the camera is automatically output from the high-temperature zone. The system transmits the video signal to the control console and archives the image.
The video surveillance system was developed and manufactured by NIIPT Raster (part of Roselectronics).
Industrial plants require round-the-clock control of all technological processes, including those taking place at high temperatures. Technical solutions of NIIPT "Raster," used in the creation of video surveillance systems, allow the equipment to function effectively even in extreme operating conditions. In addition to heat-resistant equipment, the company produces unique explosion-proof and radiation-resistant video monitoring complexes, - said Olga Krotova, executive director of NIIPT Rastr. |
