2022: Transition to the Pro32 Getscreen remote access service

On March 6, 2023 MONT Group of Companies , they announced the completion of migration from foreign software for remote access TeamViewer and the transition to a solution. As Russian producer Getscreen.ru part of the migration project, 500 jobs were equipped.

The departure of TeamViewer from Russia was an impetus for the company to research the market for similar solutions. When choosing an alternative solution for remote access, it was considered that the installation and deployment of the application should be in the MONT infrastructure. For the company, ease of use of the product and cross-platform were important. The choice was carried out only among Russian developments included in the register of domestic software. As part of the study, the task was to find a product that is not inferior to its foreign counterpart, while diversifying the existing risks as much as possible - this became Getscreen.ru.

Important factors that also influenced the choice of Getscreen.ru solution were the current and understandable interface, the acceptable total cost of ownership of the product, the reduction in download time and the number of clicks on connection, and the obvious usability for administrators and users.

The entire pilot took a total of three weeks, during which comprehensive testing of the product's capabilities was carried out.

Among the useful options that were noticed: online translator - will be useful when working in multilingual companies, the use of hot keys - helps in the work of the administrator when providing remote support, screen recording. The Getscreen.ru also allows you to immediately see the technical characteristics of the connected computer. All these options greatly simplify the support of both employees working in the office and remote employees, including those working in other branches outside Russia, noted Ivan Burmistrov specialist in IT asset management of MONT Group of Companies.

The Getscreen.ru implements a dashboard for administrators, where all computers of the company are visible online. Thanks to group policies, when connecting to a domain, the computer automatically receives an agent to which an administrator can immediately connect. It is not necessary to request an ID and password every time, as is implemented in other solutions. It is enough to find the computer in the list by name, and you can immediately connect after receiving confirmation from the user.

Having implemented Getscreen.ru in its workflow, MONT has evaluated the capabilities of the software and will offer it to its partner clients.
