2023: Completion of the implementation of digital infrastructures in the workshop of TPC No. 8

The Ural Center for Security Systems and the Pervouralsky Novotrubny Plant have completed a project to introduce digital infrastructures in the workshop of TPC No. 8 on the territory of the plant. The UTSB announced this on March 15, 2023.

Within the framework of the project, the UCSB team of specialists carried out work on the examination and collection of initial data, developed working documentation, supplied equipment and materials for the work, installed climatic equipment, installed APCS TSPD, including the necessary telecommunication cabinets, installed TN and STBD power supply lines, and supplemented the connection of TSPD to the LPS with the Check Point security gateway.

As a result of joint work in workshop No. 8, the network infrastructure of the workshop was created on the territory of the plant of JSC "PNTZ," the programmable logic controller was retrofitted with additional network interfaces in order to further transfer process data to the PIMS class system for the implementation of an automated system for identifying and tracking products in workshop No. 8. In addition, the information infrastructure of the workshop was created and STBDs were installed to ensure the documentation , storage and provision of process data. As a result, a communication channel was organized between the technological process (level 1, 2 of the APCS "Technological data transmission network") and the data transmission network.

It is worth noting that the entire scope of work was carried out by UTSB in less than a year.

The project implemented by UTSB brought great practical benefits and increased the efficiency of the operation of workshop No. 8. UTS created a technological data transmission network, retrofitted PLCs with network interfaces, installed process database servers, organized a safe, reliable communication channel between the information level of process control and the data transmission network of the corporate network, - said Dmitry Gennadievich, head of the workshop of the Pervouralsky novotrubny plant Zakharov.
