On March 20, 2023, the company SberKorus"" announced the introduction of an Plane Electronic EDI data interchange system in the development group to exchange data on the supply construction of materials from the developer's suppliers within the supply module. S.Materials 

According to the company, the implementation of the SPHERE EDI system ensures 100% automation of the chain of ordering building materials: from a tender to delivery to the construction site for contractors and suppliers who exchange electronic documents. Reservation of goods from the supplier occurs automatically, and a guarantee of delivery to the object is created, which helps to significantly optimize the construction time objects. 

According to the Aircraft Group, as a result of the first stage of the implementation of the system, the processing time for building materials by suppliers and contractors was reduced from 15 days to 8. At the end of the project, it should be only 1-2 days. The number of errors in orders for March 2023 decreased by 2 times - from 15 to 7.5%. The goal is to reduce this figure to 0.5%.

The implementation reduces resources for duplication, sorting and storage of documentation by 20%. The number of manual data entry errors is reduced, the processing time of documents is reduced by 70%, and the risk of their loss is eliminated.

In addition, automating the process of obtaining information about each order of building materials will significantly reduce the need for the company's security resources through 100% supply control. A completely transparent process will exclude any corruption risks at each stage up to the direct acceptance of building materials at the facility.

The system will also help the developer to supplement the data on construction materials when organizing shipments and deliveries. Each item card will display information about weight and size characteristics, barcodes and other information for the correct organization of material acceptance at the site. As part of the implementation of S.Materials, a mobile acceptance application has already been developed and is being implemented.

You need to understand that the amount of information in the business processes of the Airplane group is large. Given the growth of our business and the volume of construction, simple electronic document management can no longer cope with this scale. We estimated the digitalization of the process of processing orders by contractors and suppliers at 35% at the beginning of 2022, and by March 2023 this is already 80%. Our goal is 100% digitalization of these processes, and the introduction of SPHERE EDI should help us achieve this indicator by the end of 2023. As of March 2023, each developer has its own system for ordering materials for objects, often self-described and very complex. We took a different path: we use the experience of other industries, for example, retail, to automate processes.
