NOSTA (PSIwms)

Berlin, on August 19, 2009 - after delivery of the warehouse management system PSIwms to the warehouses of NOSTA company located in Lengerikh and Ladbergena PSI Logistics GmbH company, PSI subsidiary company, will perform delivery of PSIwms and for the distributor center Shtadtkhagen. After implementation on the first two platforms a system in which configuring the operator NOSTA was engaged in June of this year is put into operation in Shtadtkhagena.

The purpose of this project - to learn to configure independently new warehouse terminals by means of the PSIwms system - was successfully implemented in several stages. Client system configuration of management of the warehouse PSI gives to NOSTA the chance to enter new branches without support of PSI company.

Besides, for NOSTA the possibility of PSIwms to work in a multinodal system was used. At the same time several warehouse management systems are united in network and work in close interaction. Such approach allows to get an information access of other warehouses within the powers conferred to users. The selected data are stored on a centralized basis, and each branch at the same time is independent. The warehouse Shtadtkhagen terminal where NOSTA manages the big distributor center for the producer of Berentzen drinks, has capacity about 35000 pallet and 6000 rack places. At round-the-clock operation capacity of this warehouse reaches till 2000 a pallet in day. After free data transfer from an old system operation of a warehouse complex continued according to the diagram.
