2023: Creation of a baggage handling system

On March 23, 2023, Reksoft announced that it had taken part in the creation and launch of a high-performance baggage handling system at the Vladikavkaz airport terminal. In this project, "Reksoft" acted as a technological partner of the company "Konvetronik."

Convetronic's area of responsibility included integrated project management, design, supply and installation of equipment. Reksoft was responsible for developing software (software), creating a digital system twin, setting up and launching the software complex. Commissioning was carried out by a joint team of specialists.

As a result of the project implementation, automation of the entire baggage handling process at the airport was ensured: check-in, transportation, inspection, sorting, packing of baggage for the flight and baggage issue to passengers. The system meets all the requirements of modern airports. The production base of the system components is located in Russia, which allows you to achieve a high level of localization.

As part of the project, passenger check-in points were put into operation. The baggage handling system is integrated with airport systems (security system, fire-fighting system, radiation control, etc.). This increases the overall level of control, makes workflows more efficient, and improves airport service.

In addition, within the framework of the concept of "technological sovereignty," a system of universal integration with inspection equipment was introduced. The system allows integrating the luggage system at the software and hardware level with any inspection equipment (introscopes, tomographs) of both Russian and foreign production, including from China.

In North Ossetia, work is underway to develop domestic tourism. The appearance of this terminal is of great importance for ensuring the growth of tourist flow to the republic. The implementation of the project made it possible to qualitatively update the infrastructure of the Vladikavkaz airport, including increasing its throughput more than twice, - said Alexander Semenov, director of the transport and logistics department of Reksoft.

In general, the terminal has installed a lot of domestic equipment that is not inferior to its imported counterparts, including our baggage handling system and inspection automation system, "said Mikhail Prokhorov, commercial director of Konvetronik.
