Monitoring systems and controls of GLONASS transport are implemented in DRSU vehicle fleets of the Omsk region

Monitoring systems and controls of transport based on GLONASS were implemented in vehicle fleets of six road-building managements servicing network of highways of federal importance in the territory of the Omsk region. The project was implemented by the regional partner of M2M Telematics Group - TMT-complex systems, within the agreement of M2M Telematics Group with Federal Road Agency (Rosavtodor) on equipment by the equipment of GLONASS of the road-building equipment in Russian regions.

Since the beginning of 2010 exchange M2M-Cyber GLX telematic service stations equipped DRSU No. 2, No. 3 transport, No. 4, No. 6 and also Tyukalinsky and Cherlaksky DRSU. In each road-building management dispatching jobs are set, and all managers underwent special training. Except dispatching places in DRSU, all information on movement of the road-building equipment comes to uniform dispatching service of Federal management of roads Siberia which integrates several regions – the Novosibirsk, Omsk, Kemerovo regions and Altai Krai.

After implementation of navigation equipment on the road-building equipment in the Omsk region, fuel economy, on average, made 20%. Also significantly the effective management of vehicle fleets increased - will reach full control over observance of routes of the movement (reduction of a run was about 30%), speed of movement of vehicles, unauthorized use of the equipment, operation of hinged mechanisms and many other factors.

Under the agreement with the Ministry of construction of the Omsk region implementation of monitoring systems and control of transport in thirty road-building enterprises working at regional routes is going to continue TMT-complex systems. The first stage of equipment of the equipment will begin the equipment of GLONASS in October, 2010.

Within cooperation with Federal Road Agency M2M Telematics Group supplied to Managements of roads several thousands of sets of the equipment based on GLONASS. The contract of M2M Telematics Group with Federal Road Agency is the largest all-federal contract on equipment of transport the GLONASS equipment today.
