STUTE-TRILUX (PSIwms)

The STUTE Verkehrs-GmbH transport enterprise is the Bremen enterprise with long traditions, affiliated enterprise of company Kühne + Nagel (AG & Co.) KG, Shindellegi (Switzerland). Except a full range of services of the modern forwarding agency it proposes solutions based on the integrated specialized logistics systems. At the enterprise founded in 1853 about 1200 employees work. The forwarding services and services performed under the agreement for aviation, automotive and mechanical engineering industry belong to area of its activity. This enterprise is considered one of the leading European enterprises on rendering services.

The division in Arnsberg is engaged in service of the European distributor center of the producer of lighting instruments – TRILUX companies of 15500 sq.m. The TRILUX company is leading manufacturer of lighting products, in particular, of high-quality technical lighting instruments. In Arnsberg, the main department of the company in Zauyerlanda, 1200 employees are busy. Expansion of the enterprise led to the fact that warehousing capacit in Arnsberg ceased to meet requirements of the effective movement of materials. Therefore construction of a new warehouse complex was entrusted to STUTE company.

For process management in the distributor center the warehouse management system PSIwms including a management system for pilers "Transport Control" is used. The PSIwms system during the two-shift work helps to prepare products of TRILUX company for timely shipment across the whole Europe. At the same time goods receipt makes about 150000 pallet a year. It is completed and packed for shipment up to 475000 positions (about 90700 packets and 109000 pallet). The distributor center of TRILUX company has the pallet racks 11 meters high expected 16600 narrow pallet and 10300 pallet of the standard size. For ensuring the maximum flexibility, during the developing of the concept and construction of the distribution center developers consciously refused high extent of automation. The complete set occurs by method Mann-zur-Ware ("the person to goods"). For lengthy loads in the distribution center there is a console racks 2100 running meters long warehouse and also 11800 places on shelf racks for fine details.

Two servers with high availability quotient located in Bremen manage all processes in a warehouse. VPN connection of the main department of TRILUX company with the distribution center in Arnsberg ensures almost trouble-free operation.
