OTP Bank engages external partners to independently test business solutions and support banking products at the proper quality level. Since 2015, in this direction, he has been collaborating with the IBS testing center, whose specialists implement and develop testing projects in the organization and support the release of bank-wide releases.

During time the joint work, the IBS team performed integration testing of 15 in-bank systems, provided services to OTP Bank in the areas of manual functional, automated and load testing. IBS testing center specialists participated in the launch, Internet bank consulted at the API stages training and for business customers. They also supported the bank in the transition from Waterfall to flexible methodologies, Agile the transition to other testing and release planning tools, the development of regional testing centers. At various times, up to 40 IBS specialists were involved in OTP Bank projects.

During the joint project, the IBS team managed to optimize the duration of regression integration testing of Core systems and increase the number of releases issued for the bank to implement more annual tasks. The main goal of the project was to optimize the current test model with the subsequent automation of processes, as well as to help in the qualitative release of strategic tasks.

In 2022, OTP Bank managed to update, telephony Naumen introduce - API services of loyalty, call center and - POS convayer, as well as develop test a model for insurance loyalty services. The IBS team supported the design work through the prompt involvement of testing specialists with the necessary expertise, which led to the joint development and achievement of the bank's goals.

At the beginning of April 2023, the IBS project team participates in the administration and support of the bank's test stands. The work includes the automation of the process of updating the test environments of the bank's central systems, the organization of monitoring of test environments, the determination of a list of critical integrations and the organization of the process of automating stubs for critical business processes. IBS specialists are actively involved in the development, collection and control of testing metrics and the quality of released releases.

Over eight years of work with OTP Bank, the company has implemented more than 100 different projects. One of the achievements is that it was possible to optimize the total time spent on testing, while maintaining the quality of the released releases. For example, the time of the regression cycle decreased from two weeks to three days, the automation of regression testing is now 85%. OTP Bank appreciates the work of the IBS team, confirming this with many years of cooperation, level of trust and letters of gratitude for a significant contribution to business development and organization of testing work. For the specialists of the project team, the most transparent environment for growth and training in other banking areas has been formed. IBS develops with the bank and shares its practices. Competency control is organized through a skills model, where each employee of both the bank and IBS has a roadmap and can easily identify the right specialist for prompt advice.
