JSC "Cordiant" produces hundreds of types and models of cars and trucks under the Cordiant brand. The total production of the holding is about eight million tires per year.

For even more efficient work, Cordiant intends to increase production volumes and equipment utilization, and improve production planning. To achieve these objectives, the management of the holding decided to modernize the existing approaches and systems in production and switch to an updated automated system, optimizing business processes and introducing a more accurate planning methodology.

IBS was selected as the contractor for the production survey project. Work began in January 2023, it is planned to complete them in May 2023.

Among the first tasks of the project is a survey of business processes at the enterprises of Kordiant JSC and the creation of a list of preparatory measures that must be carried out before the implementation of the MES system on the basis of the 1C platform. At the end of March 2023, the IBS project team completed a survey of the company's production sites in Yaroslavl and Omsk.

Within the framework of the project, IBS specialists will have to unify production processes between sites as much as possible in terms of production planning, dispatching and quality control and identify their "bottlenecks," the elimination of which is possible by means of automation. IBS specialists will develop the concept of future planning algorithms at two levels and present recommendations for automating the process of preparation of production and production of finished products.

A feature of the project is the geographical fragmentation of the holding's enterprises. The production sites of the company "Cordiant" are located in Yaroslavl and Omsk, and the managing composition is located in Moscow. Each enterprise uses its own set of information systems, production processes between sites have not yet been unified. IBS has a difficult task to offer a solution that will bring the information systems and production processes of Cordiant to uniformity. It is also planned to replace current software products, while eliminating work with paper media, so that further maintenance and development of the system is less labor-intensive,
