2023: Service Presentation

As part of the uod of the teacher and mentor, VK on April 10, 2023 presented a map of digital teachers - a service that will help teachers exchange experience and develop the educational sphere. Thanks to the project, teachers from all over Russia will be able to get acquainted, exchange experiences, ideas and contribute to the development of digital education in the country.

Digital Teachers Map - a service based on the open platform VK Mini Apps. On the map, each teacher will be able to find colleagues with similar interests who use digital tools and services to make learning more efficient. With the help of a map of digital teachers, teachers will share cases and best practices and find like-minded people.

To get on the map of digital teachers, the teacher needs to fill out a questionnaire in the mini-application: introduce himself, tell about his educational interests (for example, "I teach students and colleagues digital security," "I use digital tools in educational activities" or "I write a blog"), indicate specialization and position, region and school, as well as share my achievements. After the questionnaire is accepted, the teacher's mark will appear on the map.

This map will collect leading teachers who move school education forward with in-demand digital services and products. If a teacher finds a colleague with similar interests in the service or wants to ask a question to a more experienced teacher, he will be able to go to his VKontakte page and contact him. Thanks to this, it will become easier for teachers to create and develop professional communities, share their work and thoughts, find colleagues from other regions and exchange experience.

VK technologies help make the learning process at all stages easier and more convenient for all participants. A map of digital teachers will give each teacher the opportunity to help develop the education sector in Russia. On this map, we plan to gather leading teachers who move school education forward with the help of demanded digital services and products. Now it is easy to find like-minded people both in their city and on the other side of the country to exchange expertise and discuss topical issues of teaching schoolchildren, "said Sergey Mardanov, director of development of school and youth projects at VK.
