The Conergy AG company with the headquarters in Hamburg is a producer of solar batteries with the highest production volume to Europe. Due to construction of the supermodern European central warehouse Conergy Tsvaybryuken in the State of Rheinland-Pfalts concentrated all the logistic activity on an object and by that laid a strong basis for further improvement of customer service.

On the area of 25000 sq.m. this terminal provided warehouse spaces  for deliveries to clients of solar modules, inverters and frame components.

The rack system conforming to high requirements which occupies two thirds of a warehouse with warehouse places of 8-meter height has the capacity of storage up to 20000 modular pallet – with cost to 15000 euros for a pallet. The third part from 25000 square meters in a warehouse of distribution is intended for goods acceptance, a piking and shipment. About 40 workers of this warehouse complex are engaged in the organization of acceptance and shipment of goods on 19 loading platforms with an optimal processing speed. All corresponding processes are controlled by the warehouse management system PSIwms.

Logistic processes

Up to 1000 different articles of the leading system manufacturer in the field of renewable energy sources are stored in Tsvaybryukena and are intended for delivery worldwide. Up to 500 positions of orders are processed in one day. The goods receipt is on delivery checked, the serial number is registered, and the article is entered into PSIwms. The software distributes warehouse places according to different options and strategy. At the same time pallets of the most different dimensions weighing over 800 kg are delivered. Therefore automation is not applied to loading and unloading, and standard pallets are seldom used - the frontal loader and the richtraki is more often involved. Proceeding from these specifics, the PSIwms system locates the integrated management system for loaders with a radio communication. The system of transport control PSIwms selects the loader from dependence, for example, on a zone of the movement of the loader, admissible type of the cargo carrier and the maximum weight. For processing of incoming orders of PSIwms "the worker to goods" generates tasks for unloading and a complete set by the principle. These tasks are transmitted through WLAN on the mobile terminal of data collection of the loader. Unloading is made by the principle "the first came, the first left" (FIFO). In a zone of goods issue assembly of the order and preparation it to sending is carried out.
