The Datastream Solutions CIS company announces start of a corporate implementation project of a modern system of maintenance and repairs at the enterprises of JSC SIBUR-Russian Tyres. The holding is included into the twenty of the world's largest bus companies and takes the fifth place in the list of the leading tire enterprises of Europe.
The need for creation of a reliable management system of a MRO of JSC SIBUR-Russian Tyres was caused by need to optimize outdated structure of maintenance and repairs at the enterprises of holding according to new tasks of the modern dynamic company. The complete transparency in use of financial resources on a MRO, a possibility of receiving a complete picture of state-of-health data of the equipment for forecasting of future events and minimization of expensive unplanned idle times was required for holding. The company management also set a task of implementation of complex policy of diagnosing of the equipment for the purpose of transition from scheduled preventive maintenance to maintenance on the basis of actual state of the equipment.
Within the first stage of the corporate project it is supposed to cover three plants of holding – Voltayr-Prom, Yaroslavl Tire Plant and Omskshina. The pilot platform selected the JSC Voltayr-Prom plant as the enterprise which is most prepared for acceptance of organizational changes for achievement of the best results.
The solution of Datastream Solutions CIS company contains the most important stages of optimization of a MRO, including creation of business processes of operational planning and diagnosing, conversion of repair service (selection of schedulers and personnel for conducting inspections), training of specialists of the plant. Within the project change of approaches in formation of the need for spare parts and materials and also in work with the normative reference information is supposed. A separate major part of the project is made by process automation of management of a MRO using the modern IT tool – the conducting system for management of fixed assets of Infor EAM.
This project differs in complex approach to process optimization of management of repairs on all enterprise at once. Implementation of the advanced techniques of a MRO is combined with the parallel implementing solution Infor EAM using which step-by-step automation of repair processes according to the made organizational changes is made. At the same time the project of optimization of a MRO at the plant considers the best achievements Voltayr-Prom. For example, the electronic terminals on collecting of requests for maintenance of the equipment which are used at present at the enterprise will be integrated with the Infor EAM system for the improved planning of repair work and forecasting of breakdowns.
SIBUR-Russian Tyres - one of the few companies realizing that rational management of maintenance of the equipment provides performance of the company. The pilot project of optimization of a MRO of holding is going to be completed in May, 2011. After its termination replication of the solution at other enterprises of JSC SIBUR-Russian Tyres will be made.
