Infor EAM (before Datastream 7i) is the solution for management of fixed assets of the enterprise intended for increase in efficiency of use of assets with a set of basic functions and specialized industry configurations. 2018: Infor EAM 11.3.2

In March, 2018 Infor company, the supplier of cloud business applications with deep industry specialization, announced an exit of upgraded version of the solution Infor Enterprise Asset Management (Infor EAM).

Version 11.3.2 is available in a cloud and via the Infor CloudSuite Facilities Management system. It develops mobile functionality of the solution and includes new features on management of fixed assets and tracking of their status. Infor EAM is implemented including highly specialized functions for different sectors of economy — they simplify fund management in the medicobiological industry, on production, in the field of motor transport and transportations, administrative providing, the public and municipal administration.

In this release the Nonconformity screen and the Mismatches tab for the Work Orders screen and also screens Assets, Positions and the system screen are finished. Now here additional attributes of orders and also the equipment which is used for check are displayed. New features will allow users of a system to select more effectively parameters on the basis of which diagrams of preventive maintenance and the scheme of service will be under construction. Besides, it will become simpler to browse data on incomplete checks, to trace comments and the attached documentation. Also changes to determinations of Linear Equipment and "linear works" (Linear Work) were made. On the Equipment screen, in tabs Segments and Routes the additional option of data structure is added: now it is possible to synchronize technology structure for creation of the corresponding record.

The main emphasis in version 11.3.2 was put on development of mobility. So, in Infor EAM Mobile for Fleet and Infor EAM Mobile for Transit there were functions which will allow to increase significantly efficiency of the "field" personnel occupied in service of fixed assets. The feature for creation and editing the protocol of discrepancies according to a dress directly on cards is added. In practice it means that, for example, it will be much more convenient to puteobkhodchik to make protocols of defects (discrepancies) during survey of ways. The corresponding record can be created directly at detection of defect or potential fault and to specify the most exact arrangement of a point on the map. After that checking will be able to update characteristics of mismatch which will be detected at the subsequent surveys. The status of a problem, gravity of damages and so forth will be traced thus.

2016: Infor EAM 11.2

In March, 2016 Infor company, the supplier of software applications for business, announced a release of the new version of the solution for enterprise asset management — Infor EAM 11.2. Version 11.2 expands possibilities of main systems: key managements, jobs, cases and incidents, reservations of funds and also portal of contract services. The cloud solution of Infor EAM 11.2 is focused on the sphere of administrative management, hotel business, management of transportations, operation and service of vehicles, production companies.

Main changes:

  • Management system for cases. Now users can fix in a system abnormal incidents and cases of emissions, notes of operators, messages during change and the records which are not requiring the work order. So the magazine of audit of a case or an incident where it is possible to create working tasks and to trace the dresses knit with the current cases forms.
  • Management system for keys. Traces keys, allows to connect them with certain locks, objects, employees and bunches of keys. All information necessary for recovery of the lost keys is stored in a system.
  • Reservation of funds. The updated system allows to reserve any object for which the diagram of use is provided: transport, cranes, conference rooms and equipment. In the latest version there was an opportunity to reserve and the contract equipment. From now on any reservation can be connected with work orders or projects directly.
  • Portal of contract services. The portal is a safe access point for interaction of the customer and contractors. The contractor can place on the portal estimate documentation, working records and documents, data on a change in value and a status of works. In updating function of automatic issue of contracts depending on a geographical location of the contractor and type of tasks is added.
  • Management system for jobs. Allows to define structure, to appoint and trace a status of jobs, pieces of furniture and the equipment. Facilitates planning and carrying out moving. The management system for jobs is integrated with call center, a management system for keys, locks and the equipment and also with a management system for employees.
  • Uniform call center. In the new version of call center it is possible to set a matrix of provision of services for operational distribution of dresses by contractors taking into account their location and a work type. New features reduce runtime of works, excepting phone calls and reducing volumes of paper work.

2014: Infor EAM Enterprise Edition 11.0

On January 31, 2014 the Infor company presented the solution for enterprise asset management - Infor Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Enterprise Edition of version 11.0 developed for development of joint work and innovations.

The new version is created specially it is simpler to make use of a system. Updating will help to seize more fully the opportunities of technologies and to make decisions in real time. Infor EAM v.11 is focused on corporate structures from a set of departments and promotes more effective management of personnel, assets and processes, at the same time increasing visualization and informative value.

Infor EAM v.11 helps to resolve the most widespread problems and questions arising at the companies in an asset management process.

Main changes

  • The updated design. The new version received more friendly and clear interface compatible to the wide list of browsers among which Microsoft Internet Explorer 10, Safari and Google Chrome. Underwent changes and requirements to interfaces: now users will be able to start applications on web clients, completely compatible pages HTML 5. It will make available advantages of an open environment and stabilizes the platform. This approach provides access to video of high definition, accelerates data entry and increases convenience of information channels, raising the overall performance of work.
  • Updating without idle time. Infor EAM v.11 supports the update handler function "on the run" allowing to upgrade to the new version without interrupting interaction of users with a system. In most cases the application will continuously work irrespective of process of updating of the program or the database, change of the operating system, movement of the application from the local server in a cloud or archiving of large volumes of data. Function is developed so that users will not feel changes in work process, will not complete yet the current tasks then all configured updates will be activated.
  • The improved module of management of labor protection. Infor EAM v.11 is equipped with the module for management of labor protection which allows to define potentially dangerous situations, materials and technology transactions. The solution gives the chance to control the users working with risk for life and health, protecting both people, and a working environment. The module offers three main tools for security management: tabs, blocking/posting of the warning labels (lockout/tagout, LOTO) and permissions to management of working conditions. Tabs allow users to predetermine dangers while LOTO guarantees that the dangerous equipment will be reliably blocked on holding time or repair. A system grants permission a wide choice of instruments of control of all stages of production process.
  • Configuring of the equipment. In Infor EAM v.11 there is an equipment Configurator performing configuration tuning and generation of the equipment. It allows to define characteristics and properties of the new and operating items of equipment, assets or systems. After configuring users can start generation process to create production structure. It is process it is convenient and intuitive, helps to save time and provides high accuracy.
  • Control lists – this version of Infor EAM maintains control lists which give higher detailing of tasks for convenient step-by-step tracking of accomplishment of service works. Control lists help to avoid the problems connected with data collection and allow to break tasks into separate stages for more exact process management. It increases visualization of routine problems of enterprise asset management.
  • Mobility and business intelligence. The solution includes Infor EAM Analytics — the application increasing the value of a business intelligence and visualization of data view. Used together with the innovation application for Apple iPad Infor EAM Mobile, it gives to users flexibility in use of practical information. The combination of these applications does business process management more convenient and harmonious.
  • Status of component parts. Many industries need control over technical condition of important component parts. The expanded Infor EAM v.11 functions help to integrate state change of component parts into the business processes, controlling and changing them from jobs or directly from production sites.

Infor EAM v.11 includes technology innovations of the Infor 10x platform and supports Infor Ming.le.

2012

Infor10 ION

The Infor company released the application helping to carry out integration of the solutions Infor10 EAM with IT solutions of third-party producers using Infor10 ION technology.

The ION Connector tool, is specially developed first of all for integration of solutions of Infor with SAP applications. In 2012 the company is going to give additional abilities to integrate with other external systems, including with Oracle applications. Customers will be able to use ION Connector for integration of own IT developments.

Modules are a part of Infor10 ION: ION Business Vault (uniform storage of business data for the analysis and the reporting), ION Connect (service of safe work with IT solutions), ION Desk (the interface of monitoring of ION services), ION Event Management (automatic control of accomplishment of tasks), ION Pulse (monitoring of the messages, important for the user, using a key word).

Infor EAM Mobile

The Infor company announced at the end of 2012 release of Infor EAM Mobile — the application for management of corporate assets for Apple iPad. Now the clients using the Infor EAM application have an opportunity to enhance efficiency of remote workers, having opened for them access to information exchange in real time.

Infor EAM Mobile expands possibilities of Infor EAM for service staff, for example managers, administrators and schedulers, working with the application through remote connection during the business trip, business meetings, at ways or houses.

For the technicians working far off the solution offers such necessary functions as access, input and data management directly from a workplace. Infor EAM Mobile can be unrolled with standard settings or is configured taking into account unique user requirements, and access to it is possible both through specially developed portable device of Infor, and through the wide range of devices of third-party producers. In addition, the appendix the familiar interface allowing users to accustom and begin work in the shortest possible time has.

Infor EAM Mobile provides a wide choice of functions among which:

  • direct control of queue of orders. Users can load orders directly from the database then to appoint and reassign them to specific contractors. Mobile users have access to the history of orders and information on assets for simplification of diagnostics and repair, the order and return of component parts, reservations of working time and loading of images in data on the order for the subsequent addresses;
  • more exact measuring modules for work "in the field". The module of calibration is provided by access to simple and portable user tools for precise measurements, such as measuring instruments and counters, with automatic entering of data into a system that increases efficiency and accuracy of processes and allows to conform better to requirements of standards, audit and quality control. In addition, using the modules Meter Readings and Replacement, users can enter the values received from any registered metering equipment, at the same time a system will automatically determine units of measure and to enter data of the device at each reading, providing accurate data collection and reducing the spent time;
  • the best interaction with regulating authorities. Infor EAM Mobile is compatible to requirements 21 CFR 11 through functions of viewing records and use of digital signatures. The module allows to carry out remotely inspections, to change an order status, supports electronic signatures and start of authentication;
  • exact data exchange between devices in real time. The application is supported by double-sided data exchange between mobile devices and the central Infor EAM database. Every time when the user transfers data from the mobile device, a system is completely updated. To provide permanent relevance of data, transfer from the device to the database starts the return transfer updating information on the mobile device.

2011

Solutions

Infor EAM based on the "cloud" Microsoft Windows Azure platform

Infor will provide the solutions Infor EAM based on the "cloud" Microsoft Windows Azure platform. Based on a long research, for implementation of the "cloud" Infor model selected the Windows platform of Azure from Microsoft company. The Infor EAM system passed test based on the selected "cloud" platform. Plans of technology development of Infor EAM for 2011 assume further improvement of the solution taking into account orientation to the Windows platform of Azure.

According to forecasts of research companies, the share of the customers applying corporate information systems on "cloud" model by 2014 will make more than 40%. The Infor company stakes on the leading "cloud" Windows platform of Azure already today. Infor will ensure ease of use, high speed and safety of integration of such applications due to application of a new integration packet of Infor ION.

Infor10 EAM

The Datastream Solutions CIS company announced in August, 2011 a release of the solution Infor10 EAM based on Infor10 IT platform which is the newest development of Infor company. Infor10 EAM is the latest version of the solution Infor EAM providing to customers the effective tool for tasks of management of fixed assets, maintenance and repairs.

Infor10 EAM has all unique advantages of solutions of Infor company of Infor10 family. In particular, it is allocated with the ultramodern Workspace interface giving to users the chance to see on the screen information, important for them, in due time. At the same time the dashboard which is specially developed for iPad within which on one screen key up-to-date analytical information and also events requiring urgent participation of the user is reduced is available to company executives now. So, for example, being in a business trip, the user can receive the notification on need of an adoption of unplanned works, estimate availability of budgetary funds, make document approval, etc.

2010: Infor EAM v. 8.5

Infor EAM v functions. 8.5 enhanced capabilities on management of loading of repair personnel and purchase planning of materials using even more user-friendly interface include. The latest version of the solution also offers the improved functionality of planning, tracking and works monitoring (including a possibility of formation of models of service of certain types of the equipment for all their lifecycle, forecasting of terms of carrying out repairs and budgeting of works on a MRO of the same equipment).

In version 8.5 of the solution the module of integration into the GIS systems, including more convenient work with cards and the raised security level of access to them is improved. The solution Infor EAM Asset Sustainability Edition also gained development in Infor EAM v. 8.5. In the new version approach to assessment of energy efficiency of buildings and constructions according to the international standard Energy Star is implemented. Besides, the advanced functionality of use of the electronic signature facilitating tracking of a status of documents.

In Infor EAM v. 8.5 found reflection and technology changes of the solution, including improvement of the graphical user interface, optimization of performance of components of the software application and support of the most modern operating systems.
