Trend Micro SafeSync

The Trend Micro company provided new service SafeSync which provides backup and data storage on the Internet. The Trend Micro SafeSync service offers means of online archiving, secure access to the saved data from any place in the world, file synchronization in real time between a set of the devices connected to the Internet and file sharing with friends and relatives.

The SafeSync service appeared as a result of recent merger of Humyo company by Trend Micro company which provides services in storage of files and synchronization of data on the Internet. The new service Trend Micro SafeSync represents the independent, convenient and innovative solution which serves as personal "cloud" for individual consumers. Using this service users have an opportunity to carry out systematization of data in the absence of manual operations on transfer of files from one PC on another – similar transactions at accomplishment manually not only take a lot of time, but also often become data loss reason. Using the normal web browser the user can address the files in any place and at any time. As an additional option an opportunity to load the client software program which synchronizes files on all computers of the user is given and provides access to Trend Micro SafeSync storage, as to a virtual disk on the PC, even in a standalone mode without connection to the Internet.

Trend Micro SafeSync provides permanent archiving of the selected file set and folders due to fast replication of all changes made by the local machine of the user.
