2022: Introduction of Vitro-CAD online

The company Vitro Software"" implemented cloudy the solution for data management construction projects in Vitro-CAD online. UKS Magadan Region During the project, a typical configuration of the solution was established, including the functionality of coordinating the documentation with the customer, QR coding making comments directly on the pdf drawing or ifc model.

As of April 2023, 10 users work on the system. This implementation illustrates the effective use of the Vitro-CAD online cloud solution for customer development projects.

Project objectives

• Organize the General Data Environment for the exchange and coordination of documentation with the designers and the project customer to begin the implementation of BIM technologies in accordance with the State Administration No. 331 dated March 5, 2021.
• Implement clear document versioning
• Differentiate user access to information - each user sees and works only with those documents that he has access to
• Automate documentation reconciliation processes

At the same time, the solution should be deployed in the cloud in order to eliminate the burden of owning the pig infrastructure on the company and have a convenient opportunity to connect external counterparties to work.

To achieve these goals, it was necessary to complete the following tasks:

• Organize cloud storage of design documentation.
• Automate processes to align documentation.
• Provide the Contractor with the opportunity to monitor the relevance of documents submitted for work execution using QR coding.

Project progress

1. Install a typical configuration on the contractor's cloud service.
2. Audit the storage structure of customer data and business processes upon document approval.
3. Customize typical storage structure and workflow settings to suit customer needs.
4. You have prepared user instructions and conducted user training.
5. The pig was put into operation.

Implementation results

• The usual storage structure for the customer has been built
