Launch of Accelerated Online Bachelor's and Online Master's Degree with ITMO, TSU and MISIS

On June 15, 2023, Yandex announced that an accelerated online bachelor's and online master's degree was launched in Yandex Practice together with ITMO, TSU and MISIS

Professional focus and focus on practice:

• Accelerated online bachelor's degree "Frontend and Mobile Development" (together with ITMO);

• Online master's degree "Web Development" (together with MISIS).

The programs were developed jointly with Russian universities and will allow students, on the one hand, to master fundamental knowledge, without which high-quality higher education is impossible, and on the other hand, to get practical experience as close as possible to real life. 50% of the educational track of programs is devoted to theory, and 50% to practical development of material based on an interactive textbook and online simulators.

Another important component of the bachelor's and master's degree from Yandex Workshop is support throughout the educational track. Having chosen an individual trajectory of development, the student is not left alone with the training program: he has a mentor who helps him until graduation.

Already during the study period, students will undergo an internship in IT companies and collect a portfolio of more than 10 projects. Upon graduation, graduates will receive employment support from the Yandex Workshop Career Center.

Yandex noted that the accelerated online bachelor's degree from Yandex Workshop is the first such educational product in Russia. It will allow in just 2.5 years to gain system knowledge in programming and become a popular developer on one of three tracks: "Front-end development," "Mobile development of iOS" and "Mobile development of Android."

All graduates of the programs will receive state-issued diplomas.

Launch of the B2B platform

Yandex on April 24, 2023 announced the launch of an educational B2B platform for teaching digital skills to employees of companies - Grade. The platform was launched on the basis of the Yandex.Practice solution.

This technological solution offers the market a fundamentally different approach to corporate training: not reskilling from scratch, but targeted upskilling for digital skills of employees. This is a comprehensive product that will allow managers (timlids, personnel development directors, etc.) to flexibly manage the team's potential and quickly "grow" employees to the desired grade ("middle" or "signor"), and in the future - scale development.

The platform will work by subscription, which will open access to a constantly replenished library of short (20-30-hour) profile courses on analytics, to programming data management IT in and digital. By the to marketing end of 2023, it will include more than 100 courses.

Features of the platform - personalization of training for each employee and automation of skill acquisition assessment. After choosing a profile course, the service conducts diagnostics of the employee's knowledge, forms an individual training plan, and at the end - tests the degree of mastering skills. Thanks to this approach, the employee does not study "unnecessary," but only those modules that will help close the gaps.

In 2022, Yandex.Workshop trained employees of more than 2,000 companies. The company expects that by the end of 2024, Grade's share in the turnover of Yandex Workshop will be about 15%, and entering the market will increase the segment of corporate clients of the platform by at least 2 times.
