EKF SKAT counters are now included in the software of the ASKUE integrator. The developer company announced this on May 10, 2023.

EKF SKAT counters have been finalized and now fully comply with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 890. This makes it possible to use EKF metering devices in commercial electricity metering.

Among the competitive advantages: integrated programmable load control relay with the possibility of blocking ("" on ""/"" off ""/"" software control ""). Thanks to the initiative data transfer, the counter can itself report interference with the correctness of its operation, opening its case or terminal cover. In addition, the counter can report the quality of electricity, exceeding the power consumption, and in case of non-payment of the electricity bill by the subscriber, turn off the defaulter. The counter is reliably protected from various methods of stealing electricity.

EKF also announces a firmware update UM-31 SMART rev.2 to version 2.35, which supports EKF SKAT counters. Thanks to this, meters can be included in the ASCUE system, built on the basis of software RoMonitoring.NET the company Svyaz Engineering M. As of May 2023, EKF is working on integrating meters into other ASCUE systems.
