AIIS KUE Automated System for Commercial Metering of Energy and Power
A complex of instrumentation, communication communications (data transmission networks), computers and software designed to account for consumed/transmitted electricity.
Content |
The system is used at industrial enterprises, in city services, retail chains, country/cottage villages and is a rational solution for:
- improving accuracy of electricity metering;
- reduction of power consumption at the enterprise during peak load hours of the electrical system;
- switching to calculation for electric energy with the power system at diffused tariffs;
- control over the quality of electricity.
The presence of a system for a participant in the electric power market is a prerequisite for working in the wholesale (ORE) and retail (REE) electricity and capacity markets.
ACSCS Solutions and Projects Catalog
SCSCS tasks
- Accurate measurement of the amount of energy consumed or transferred and power, taking into account daily data, zone and any other tariffs.
- Provide access to this data for supplier/consumer settlements.
SCSCS functions
- Continuous monitoring of power and energy values.
- Monitoring of exceeding the limits of power and energy values with audible and/or visual alarm to the operator.
- Construction of load and consumption schedules.
- Additional visual control is possible, in real time, also of the following parameters: load current, supply line voltage, supply line frequency, phase shift between current and voltage.
- Create a database for all measured parameters.
SCSCS structure
The SCSCS includes four elements:
1) energy and power counters (with a digital interface or pulse output), as well as data collection and transmission devices (DRC), such as multiplexers, telesummators , etc. ASCUE uses accurate microprocessor counters, which are practically a small computer hanging at the accounting point. Such counters are able to take into account both active and reactive energy, as well as power in two directions, at tariffs. In addition, they are able to record the maximum load power in a given time interval and store the measured data in their memory for up to a year. Also, they are able to measure some parameters of electric power quality, for example, voltage, current, frequency, phase shift angles, voltage dips. Counters transmit ready-made data only at the time (a few seconds) when communication is established with them. The data is transmitted in kilowatt hours. If there is no communication, then all information is collected for several months, stored in the counter memory;
2) communications (switched telephone communication channels, dedicated telephone channels, radio channels , etc .) and communication equipment (modems, radio modems, multiplexers, etc.);
3) a computer with installed specialized software (for collecting and analyzing data from several meters or groups of consumers). The following types of interfaces can be used for data transfer:
- an RS-485 interface, which is a single cable on which up to 32 counters can be landed, which increases the data transfer rate, but can only be used on small objects;
- PLC interface - data is transmitted over the power wires that power the meter;
- an interface transmitting mobile data via a gsm modem;
4) Measurement data exchange software with other enterprises or power supplier.
Advantages of ASKUE
- Allow you to make the correct order of power limits based on the analysis of the amount of energy consumed during peak hours.
- Identify points of unauthorized access to energy sources.
- Selection of cost-effective power consumers on/off mode.
- Ensuring operational monitoring and control of energy consumption during the day.
- Strengthening the discipline of the use of energy resources by consumers.
- Rational planning of the work time of workshops and subdivisions during the day at enterprises.
