2023: Carrying out functional tests of turbine unit No. 4
On May 18, 2023, NBI-Engineering announced that its specialists had carried out work on functional (thermal) tests of turbine unit No. 4 for the Ivanovo TETs-3.
The purpose of the tests was to comply with the requirements of the Order of the Ministry of Energy of Russia of 30.12.2008 No. 323 "On Approval of the Procedure for Determining Specific Fuel Consumption Standards for the Production of Electric and Thermal Energy."
During the project, the following tasks were completed:
- the actual state of the steam turbine of PT-80/100-130/13 type No. 4 and units is determined;
- actual data has been compared with the manufacturer's data;
- data required for work planning and rationing are obtained;
- monitoring of the equipment operation efficiency was carried out and recommendations were developed to improve its efficiency in accordance with the requirements of "Methodological Guidelines for Thermal Testing of Steam Turbines" СО 34.30.740.
Based on the results of the work performed, the client was provided with a technical report on the results of testing turbine unit No. 4, containing the actual thermal characteristics of the steam turbine operation, as well as conclusions and recommendations on improving the efficiency of equipment operation.
