2022: Revenue growth by 2.6 billion rubles to 11.6 billion rubles

The revenue of Barilla Rus LLC in 2022 reached 11.6 billion rubles against 9 billion rubles a year earlier. The net profit of the Russian subsidiary of the Italian pasta manufacturer Barilla for this increased 6.2 times - to a record 1.16 billion rubles. According to Interfax, citing materials from Barilla Rus LLC, in 2022 the company's gross profit increased to 3.6 billion rubles from 2.8 billion rubles in 2021, and sales profit to 1.3 billion rubles from 204.6 million rubles, respectively.

Barilla Rus handle reaches 11.6 billion rubles

Barilla received a record profit at the end of 2022 despite the fact that it announced the decision to "suspend new investments and advertising activities and not profit from its presence in Russia." In September 2022, the company confirmed this position, also saying that it limits production to the main food products - pasta and bread.

Barilla Rus is part of the Italian Barilla Group. By May 2023, the company is represented in more than 100 countries. In addition to pasta, she produces tortillas, sauces, loaves and cookies. In 2009, the company came to Russia. At the concern's plant in Solnechnogorsk near Moscow, four types of bread and 20 types of pasta are produced, a total of about 50 thousand tons of products per year.[1]

2021: Revenue growth by 17.4% to RUB 9.04 billion

At the end of 2021, Barilla's revenue in the Russian market reached 9.04 billion rubles, which is 17.4% more than a year earlier. At the same time, the net profit of Barilla Rus LLC decreased - from 495.2 million rubles in 2020 to 186.4 million rubles a year later. History

2022: Restriction of work in the Russian Federation

In April 2022, Barilla announced that the company, due to the events at To Ukraine [we are talking about a Russian special operation in this country], decided to "suspend all new investments and advertising activities and not profit from its presence Russia until further notice."

By April 2022, Barilla is one of the largest pasta manufacturers in the world. She also produces sauces, bread and crackers. In Russia, she owns factories in Solnechnogorsk (Moscow region) and Ufa.

2018-2020

Eastern Europe mills for the production of hard wheat flour and the second paste factory in Russia. It was planned to build enterprises in the Stupino Kvadrat special economic zone (SEZ) in the Moscow region. The company already has a bread and pasta factory in Solnechnogorsk near Moscow with a capacity of about 200 tons per day.

The agreement on the construction of the complex was concluded in October 2018 in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte. The document was signed by the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov and the President of Barilla Group Guido Barilla.

In December 2020, Barilla began implementing the project. It was assumed that the mill would process about 680 tons of grain per day, or about 161.3 thousand tons per year. Its launch was scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2022, investments were estimated at 4 billion rubles.
