The first project in the field of transformation of the sports industry using IT solutions and blockchain technology has been completed in Russia. On the basis of the online platform "My Sport," the application "State Key" and the blockchain platform "Masterchain," a pilot service for signing, publishing and storing the results of sports competitions in electronic form has been implemented. This was announced on May 25, 2023 by the Distributed Register Systems company.

Testing of the technological solution took place at municipal triathlon competitions in Almetyevsk (Republic of Tatarstan). As part of this event, the ability to import a protocol with the results of competitions in electronic form to the My Sport platform was tested for sports judges. The imported protocol using the Simple Signature service was sent for signing with an electronic signature in the State Key mobile application. The result signed by the judges was saved using a smart contract using the Masterchain platform. Blockchain technology has provided additional transparency and legal relevance to information. Participants of the competition were able to quickly gain access to it in their digital profile on the "My Sport" platform.

The service is designed to informatize and optimize the business processes of both individual sports institutions and the industry as a whole. In particular, it will allow you to abandon paper protocols, their further storage and transportation, as well as simplify the search for athlete results. The technological solution can be used to automatically assign sports ranks and reward athletes thanks to smart contracts and the invariability of data in the blockchain network.

The pilot was carried out with the participation of the Administration of the Almetyevsky municipal district, the online platform "My Sport," the companies "Masterchain" and "Deltatech." Organizations plan to increase the experience gained and scale the solution for other sports events in the region and the country.
