2023: Service Launch

On May 25, 2023, MTS announced the launch of the Sunkey Toolkit remote testing service for mobile applications and websites. The potential profit from the launch of the product will be more than 300 million rubles.

Sunkey Toolkit is part of The Platform infrastructure and is a system for remote testing of mobile applications and sites based on the MTS cloud. Sunkey Toolkit provides the concept of "0 steps" - IT click specialists get remote access to the physical storage of phones and tablets in the MTS system. As of May 2023, the range of devices includes more than 300 models - from gadgets of past decades to new products of Chinese development. The minimum cost of a test phone in the system is 6 thousand rubles, the most expensive models on the market will cost more than 150 thousand rubles. The base is constantly replenished, by the end of the year the number of available devices will exceed 1 thousand copies.

Previously, companies and teams of developers or testers had to purchase the most popular gadgets for testing on their own, while tests were often not carried out on rare models due to complexity and unprofitability. Today, Sunkey Toolkit allows you to implement projects on a wide base of gadgets using two modes: through API and web pages. IT specialists can test web applications, websites, mobile applications, as well as conduct UI/visual testing using remote access to any gadget models in the MTS system. Sunkey Toolkit supports integration with most current services - Jira, Git, Appium, Allure, SSO and many others.

Sunkey Toolkit not only reduces the testing time of the product at all stages of readiness, but also improves its quality. Thanks to the Sunkey Toolkit, IT specialists can track the errors of tested developments and correct problems in a timely manner. Up to 60% of errors are detected due to access to the service and the presence of rare models of gadgets in the system.
