2023: Adding filtering on basic product characteristics

The multi-platform operator Tricolor on May 30, 2023 presented an updated version of the branded online store. The changes were made as part of a strategy to develop the operator's own product direction and launch a line of consumer electronics under its own Tricolor brand.

The main changes affected the grocery catalog, the visual design of the store, the speed of its work and the functions of selecting goods. The operator has finalized the cards of goods, expanded the descriptions, added filtering on the main characteristics of goods and a comparison function. In addition, much attention was paid to the mobile version of the showcase for quick and convenient ordering, since the bulk of the traffic falls on smartphones.

The geography of delivery has also expanded significantly thanks to a partnership with the courier delivery service DPD.

One of the important innovations of the Tricolor online store was the launch of the Exchange service. It allows you to check by Tricolor ID whether the receiver is suitable for exchange, within which you can hand over outdated equipment and get more modern models with support for HD and Ultra HD television viewing formats. The operator sends outdated equipment received from customers for recycling. Over the ten years of the trade in program from Tricolor, about seven million receivers have been recycled at the consumer electronics recycling enterprise in the Tula region.

Our changes are another step Tricolor has taken towards improving the customer's user experience. We made the online store convenient and fast. This need was dictated, including the development of our own line of consumer electronics. Tricolor's company store has thousands of items and will only grow over time, so it was important for us to make it easier for customers to choose and buy. In the updated online store, customers can purchase TV viewing equipment, kits for receiving satellite Internet services, video surveillance and smart home devices, as well as new operator's products in the consumer electronics line - TVs, projectors and soundbars under Tricolor's own brand.
