2023: Product Announcement

Rostec is creating an automated civil aircraft service system that will bring together developers, manufacturers, maintenance centers and airlines. The press service of the state corporation announced this at the end of May 2023.

The project is being implemented by RT-Innovative Developments, a joint venture between RT-Design Technologies and IC IAS. It is assumed that the platform will provide automation of aircraft airworthiness maintenance, maintenance and repair, preparation of documentation, etc. The functionality of the software products included in the system allows you to work with the documentation and automate the accounting of damage, plan the maintenance of the aircraft and the consumption of material and technical resources, as well as form the regulations for upcoming work in accordance with the configuration and purpose of the aircraft.

The comprehensive information system of after-sales services will allow aviation cluster enterprises to abandon the currently used foreign systems, whose vendors unilaterally suspended the provision of services in Russia.

As noted by Alexander Nazarov, Deputy General Director of Rostec, by the end of May 2023, some of the modules of the new system are already operating at aircraft manufacturing enterprises, some are under development. The system will become a "single window" for operators and will use only domestic software solutions.

The "single window" format implies the centralization of all processes related to after-sales service, and is the first step in providing operating organizations with comprehensive service services, which will significantly simplify information exchange between manufacturers and operators, he explained.[1]
