Russian developers will help strengthen the technological sovereignty of the region and popularize Russian software and hardware solutions in the Tver region. The quadripartite agreement was concluded on June 14, 2023.

On the part of the government of the Tver region, the document was signed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Tver Region - Minister of Finance of the Tver Region Marina Podtikhova.

As part of the agreement, the parties agreed to deploy software and hardware complexes on the basis of regional executive bodies using Russian IT products and state information systems. To do this, Russian developers will provide the regional government with software and equipment free of charge. Previously, companies checked the correctness of IT products and confirmed their compatibility.

Among the products are servers, data storage systems and other computer equipment "Aquarius," server and workstation virtualization management system RED Virtualization and the operating system RED OS "Server" from "RED SOFTWARE," as well as software solutions for planning budgets, procurement and reporting "Keysystems."

The tests will last for six months, during which time the parties will also participate in exhibition events and round tables on the development of Russian information technologies in the Tver region.

The agreement makes it possible to get acquainted in practice with the Russian software and hardware complex, to assess the characteristics of IT products. We plan to discuss in working mode with the developers the technical intricacies of the transition to domestic technologies, consult with them and offer initiatives to improve the technostek. I am sure that such cooperation will lead to the further development of the IT industry in the Tver region and solving problems in the field of import substitution, "said the Minister of Finance of the Tver region Marina Podtikhova.
