2023: Moving to "1C:ERP"

The Moscow office of Belorusskaya IT integrator First Bit has completed another import substitution project. Es.Si migrated from a foreign ERP system to a Russian 1C: ERP. Johnson Russia. " This was announced on June 26, 2023 by the "First Bit."

ESC Johnson Russia employees have never encountered 1C programs. The company had its own IT department, but the specialists did not have experience in implementing 1C:ERP and adapting the business processes of the enterprise into 1C. Therefore, the First Bit team acted in the project not only as a partner in the implementation of a domestic ERP system. Together with the customer, specialists investigated business processes and operational activities, were engaged in reengineering processes and the formation of a technical assignment for development.

The process of work and training was built so that employees of the enterprise could participate in the project without interrupting the usual workflow. The customer did not have to form a team focused exclusively on migration - which means that it was possible to avoid additional personnel costs.

I would like to draw special attention to the approach to formal education that the First Bit company conducted for us, covering 100% of employees. Together we developed a concept of three levels of training, from the basic training "What is 1C," through the advanced training "Concept of the application solution 1C:ERP Enterprise Management" to training users in the workplaces of the customized version 1C:ERP the specific business processes for which they are responsible. I can say with confidence at Es.S. Johnson, Russia "there is not a single person left who does not know what is, 1C:ERP said Yulia Ryleva, CIS Head of Customer Collaboration & Operational Efficiency at Es.S. Johnson. "

Our partner gave all employees to understand, accept and love the implemented system, see unconditional advantages in it, see further potential and enter the launch with a positive attitude. As a result, even the launch itself, which we, frankly, were most afraid of, went for us without stopping the business and surprised us with the speed and success of even our large partners in retail, "added Mikhail Luginin, CIS Supply Chain Director at Es.S. Johnson. "

The 1C:ERP automated warehouse accounting, sales, production, procurement, as well as accounting and tax accounting. Set up integration with 1C: Accounting, created several reports (discounts, disposal, EDI messages, etc.), connected mechanisms for generating barcodes, printing labels and checking marking at acceptance.

Within the framework of the project, it was possible to completely switch from a foreign ERP system to a 1C:ERP without stopping business processes and sales, and not only not to lose quality, but, on the contrary, to improve the work of some specialized departments. It now takes 35% less time to form regulated reporting, order processing has accelerated by 50%, inventory turnover has increased by 5%, and the number of rejects has decreased by 1%.
