Holding Roselectronics"" of the State Corporation Rostec received a registration certificate for tips for laboratory dispensers used for high-precision dispensing of small volumes of liquids. Products are made from domestic raw materials and allow import substitution of products from foreign suppliers. Registration Roszdravnadzor as certified medical device will significantly increase sales of these products. This was announced Roselectronics by "" on November 8, 2024.

Universal disposable tips for laboratory dispensers TR Tips RZP are produced by the Rybinsk Instrument Engineering Plant (RZP, part of Roselectronics). The devices can be used in laboratories of medical institutions, including blood transfusion stations during clinical laboratory diagnostics, including in vitro methods. The production of tips is carried out in the so-called "clean rooms," which is confirmed by the protocol of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA of Russia) on the absence of DNases, RNases and PCR inhibitors. The products are compatible with the line of manual and automatic dispensers - BIOHIT ("Sartorius"), PipetMan ("Gilson"), EKROS OPA (EKROSKHIM LLC) and others.

In the context of unilateral sanctions pressure on our country, such products are becoming more and more in demand. In the production of tips, exclusively Russian raw materials are used, thus, the risk of disruption of supplies from abroad is leveled. The registration certificate of Roszdravnadzor confirms the safety of the product, which is especially important for laboratory diagnostics and in vitro studies, - said the Director General of the RZP Andrei Komogortsev.

The project for the production of products from medical plastics has been implemented at the RZP since 2018 in order to diversify production, including as part of the implementation of the government course on import substitution in the field of domestic medicine. The project was supported by the Industrial Development Fund (EDF) in the form of concessional lending.

2023: Production begins

The Rybinsk Instrument Making Plant, part of the Roselectronics holding, has launched the production of tips for laboratory dispensers used for high-precision dispensing of small volumes of liquids. Products are produced from domestic raw materials and will allow import substitution of products from foreign manufacturers. This was reported to Roselectronics at the end of June 2023.

The tips are designed for high-precision dispensing and pipetting of various fluids using automatic dispensers and robotic systems. The geometry of the product provides a tight fit to the mounting cone of dispensers of most manufacturers present on the market: Thermo Scientific (Lenpipet, St. Petersburg), BIOHIT (Sartorius), Eppendorf, PipetMan (Gilson), Assist (BioSan), Mettler Toledo.

Today, about 80% of the medical tip market in Russia is occupied by products from foreign manufacturers. We plan that RZP will be able to ensure the independence of the Russian consumer in this segment. At the initial stage, the production of tips with dosing volumes of 2-200 and 100-1000 µL was launched, the enterprise plans to further expand the range of products, - said Andrei Komogortsev, General Director of the Rybinsk Instrument Making Plant, whose words are quoted by the press service of Roselectroniki on June 27, 2023.
