2023: Service Launch

In late June 2023, former employees Tinder chat boat introduced CupidBot [[1] which uses artificial intelligence to seduce women on behalf of men who don't want to waste time talking. A subscription to the service costs $15 in 3 months.

According to the developers, CupidBot will scroll through dating apps left and right instead of the user and communicate with interlocutors on behalf of the user. The AI is responsible for finding the profiles most compatible with the user's profile, finds those who "match," then the chatbot performs a conversation with the "selected" woman. To do this, AI running on OpenAI language models uses dating histories already in the database.

According to India Today, CupidBot can be configured in accordance with different settings for different types of conversations: humorous, direct, aggressive, flirting. The service can make a mark on the Apple or Google calendar for a date note or future meeting. AI will also be able to warn against meeting with persons of easy behavior, while remaining polite in communication.

In the examples of chats from developers, exchange between a woman and AI, CupidBot manages to get a phone number after just three conversations. If the user grants CupidBot access to his accounts Instagram in and (Facebook both services belong to Meta, which Russia is recognized as extremist and prohibited), then the service will keep the entire list of to-do and meetings for him.

For June 2023, desperate men resort to the help of bots so that they make acquaintances on the Internet for them. This phenomenon was even reflected in an episode of the series "South Park," which was co-written with ChatGPT and depicted the main characters of the series using an extremely popular AI tool to communicate with their friends.[2]
