2023: Increase in Emergency Call Device All-in-One Output in 2023
The volume of production of a monoblock of an emergency call device (UVEOS) for retrofitting used, cars including those imported into, Russia is planned to be significantly increased. This was announced on June 28, 2023 by Maxim Lysochenko, general director of "" Santel Navigation- one of the the Russian producers SOS buttons.
The head of the company noted the increased market interest in this device from April 2023 - the moment of production. As of June 2023, the manufacturer covers the existing demand for monoblocks, while preparing to increase production volumes.
The recognition of the device is associated with its all-in-one design, which has no analogues in the domestic market yet. The installation of the device takes an average of half an hour and does not require complex work with the standard electronics of the car. After that, the equipment is ready for connection to the ERA-GLONASS state information system.
All existing UVEOS are created according to the modular principle: the main unit with antennas, a separate unit with an SOS button, a remote microphone and a speaker. Such devices are usually mounted when assembling a new car at the factory. To equip the already released car, our monoblock is very convenient. All you need is to connect several wires and attach the device itself. Great interest is visible from various companies, including partners of GLONASS JSC, to the device and in 2023-2024 we will increase production volumes. Orders come from all regions. Someone buys for a sample, and someone has already tested and orders large batches, explained Maxim Lysochenko.

Santel-Navigation produces UVEOS both for retrofitting already produced vehicles and for the automotive industry. In 2023, the volume of production is planned at the level of 350 thousand devices, which is several times higher than in previous years. In the future, there is also an increase in production to cover possible demand for UVEOS.
To eliminate the shortage of SOS buttons, manufacturers not only increase their production volumes, but also develop universal models for the convenience and ease of installation in used cars. Despite the fact that such models do not require complex technical work, nevertheless, for a high-quality installation, you need to contact professionals - partners of GLONASS JSC. The main thing is not just to attach the button, but to make it functional, to ensure your safety and other participants in the movement, said Artem Klimovsky, Director for Product Development and Support of GLONASS JSC.
