2023: Digital Industrial Platform Begins

EuroChem A digital industrial platform is being created in. The company announced this on June 28, 2023.

Based on the platform, production process control systems (MES, MOM), monitoring and control systems for processes and equipment status (IIoT solutions), quality control systems (LIMS), planning, forecasting systems, production dashboards and KPI systems, virtual analyzers and recommendation systems, predictive analytics tools, dispatch centers (EDAC, ASD) and others will be built. The project is being implemented by the Digital Technologies and Platforms (DTF) team.

EuroChem has a strategy to digitalize production until 2026. The key priority is given to projects aimed at increasing productivity and efficiency of enterprises, increasing transparency and manageability of processes, as well as minimizing the human factor and related errors and improving industrial safety. The pilot sites were NAC Azot and Kovdorsky GOK. The effect of using platform approaches is estimated at reducing the duration of digital projects by 40% and labor costs by 20%, which ranges from 0.8 to 1.5 billion rubles. annually.

The creation of a digital industrial platform will allow enterprises to optimize costs, reduce consumption rates, increase productivity and recovery factor, reduce equipment downtime, and reduce specific energy consumption. According to research by consulting companies, production management systems and modern digital products can increase the efficiency of enterprises by 0.5-2% without significant capital expenditures. At the same time, the introduction of various digital services allows you to locally reduce costs and increase efficiency by 5-10%. The implementation of the platform will give production sites the opportunity to develop towards increasing the volume of information processing, deep analysis and forecasting and, as a result, increasing the efficiency and reliability of production.

For the introduction of production information systems and digital products, it is planned to use a platform approach that has already proven itself well in large companies of the Russian Federation over the past 5 years. The deadline for the implementation of all projects planned on the basis of the platform is 2025.

The digital platform is a set of system and application services, as well as tools for their configuration and development, which allows you to speed up the process of introducing new applications and use an integrated approach to digitalization.
