2023: Business Process Automation with Sherpa RPA Platform

The construction company KamaStroyInvest and the Russian developer of software robots Sherpa RPA have implemented a business process automation project. This was announced on July 3, 2023 by Sherpa Robotics.

It became important for KamaStroyInvest to automate the process of collecting and compiling reports on these stages. This made it possible to update information daily, make more informed decisions, speed up management processes and improve the efficiency of departments as a whole.

To automate the process, the Sherpa RPA robotics platform was chosen. In six days, it was possible to develop and implement software robots that reduced reporting time to 3-4 hours and reduced the number of errors in their preparation. This significantly reduced the burden on responsible employees and made it possible to direct their time to solve more important tasks.

The results exceeded expectations, and KamaStroyInvest continues to develop this project. The automation process uses EXML, Power BI, 1C and Bitrix24 file systems.

Robots update reports daily, starting the procedure before the start of the working day. This greatly simplified and accelerated the process of maintaining up-to-date information. It is important to note that the automation of the process took place precisely in the construction division of the company, which made it possible to focus efforts on improving the efficiency of the main activity.

Another example of digital transformation is interaction with banks. The construction business in its daily activities often faces processing a large volume of bank statements from various banks. This process is an integral part of financial transactions involving receiving payments from customers and making payments to suppliers. Processing these statements requires a significant amount of time on the part of employees.

With the help of Sherpa RPA robots, the process of unloading bank statements from an online bank and their subsequent loading into the 1C system was fully automated. Now the company's employees do not need to spend 2.5 hours a day on this time-consuming and monotonous operation.

We have been engaged in robotization for a long time, there was experience with a foreign platform. There was a lot of resistance from employees who believed that everything worked well already. After a lot of trial and error, it became clear to us how the digital transformation in the company should take place. Robotization can solve problems almost instantly. However, robots have disadvantages, such as the need for maintenance and dependence on interfaces. They require constant support.
