2023: Transfer of servers to Red OS

Rosagroleasing has chosen RED OS and RED SOFTWARE as the operating system for its servers. The move aims to reduce reliance on foreign software. The Red Soft company announced this on July 10, 2023.

Preparations for the migration of the server part of the Rosagroleasing IT infrastructure to the Russian software package began in mid-2021. The company's specialists analyzed the products available on the domestic market for compliance with technical requirements. The choice was made in favor of RED OS and Red Virtualization to replace foreign Windows Server and VMware ESXi operating systems.

As a result, RED SOFT managed to integrate the software package with the existing Rosagroleasing services and information systems, which made it possible to maintain the continuity of work processes.

The migration was successful due to the functional maturity of the software and the developed ecosystem of our products. At the time of the start of the project, it already included the software necessary for the enterprise, for example, the 1C Enterprise system, the comprehensive Cyber ​ ​ Backup solution and DBMSostgres Pro, commented Rustam Rustamov, Deputy General Director of RED SOFT.

The transfer of server equipment to RED SOFT products allowed us to reduce dependence on foreign software manufacturers. As a result, we have the opportunity to receive updates and comprehensive technical support directly from the developer, which today is deprived of foreign software users, "said Sergey Vinogradov, head of the Rosagroleasing information technology department.
