StoneGate Firewall/VPN

StoneGate Firewall/VPN is a line of program and hardware-software firewalls with a possibility of creation of failsafe VPN. The architectural concepts allowing to provide the unsurpassed level of information system protection are the cornerstone of the StoneGate Firewall/VPN firewall. In the solution own integrated protected OS is used that excludes need of accomplishment of any specialized operations on setup (all necessary installations are executed in "one pass") and also allows to increase functionality of StoneGate only due to adding of new components without change of the working infrastructure and without stopping in work. Besides, in StoneGate Firewall/VPN technologies of the analysis of traffic and ensuring fault tolerance are applied. At the same time traffic filtering with tracking of a context of the set connections is possible also at the level of applications, i.e. StoneGate understands the sequence of connection establishment, is able to sort logic of work of the protocol and allows to set for them such parameters as an operation mode, a set of the permitted commands, etc. For post office protocols in addition anti-virus inspection is supported.

StoneGate Firewall/VPN 315 with the UTM functions

On August 31, 2011 the Finnish producer of means of network protection Stonesoft provided the new model of the StoneGate Firewall/VPN 315 firewall with the UTM functions developed for reliable protection of small networks and remote branches and also providing high system availability that guarantees the continuity of network functioning at any time.

StoneGate FW-315 provides a comprehensive protection from the different attacks. Its UTM (Unified Threat Management) functionality, in addition to firewalling, and the VPN organization (including using the Russian cryptographic algorithms), includes web filtering, an intrusion prevention for e-mail, HTTP and VoIP of traffic, an antispam for SMTP and an antivirus for e-mail and HTTP.

The built-in functions of a clustering with balancing of loading on servers, to providers of communication, in VPN connections and also a possibility of use of reserve capacities of IPS on the connections overloaded the Internet for ensuring smooth operation, together with the centralized control system and monitoring do this the device irreplaceable at small unattended offices. StoneGate FW-315 has four copper network interfaces and also is available in modifications with support of WiFi and ADSL.

StoneGate Firewall/VPN is certified by FSB of Russia

Stonesoft, a McAfee Group Company jointly with the Russian technology partner announced Novye tekhnologii bezopasnosti LLC in November, 2013 obtaining the certificate confirming compliance of StoneGate Firewall/VPN to requirements imposed on FSB of Russia to the cryptographic (cryptographic) tools intended for the data protection which is not containing the data which are the state secret on classes KC1 and KC2.

Certificate No. Federation Council/124-2027 of October 4, 2013 certifies that the means of cryptographic information protection (MCIP) "A software package of cryptographic protection "StoneGate Firewall/VPN version 5" conforms to requirements of FSB of Russia to cryptographic CIPFs of class KC1 and class KC2 and can be used for the cryptographic information protection (enciphering and masking of IP traffic, cryptographic authentication of subscribers at connection establishment) which is not containing the data which are the state secret.

The validity of certificate of conformity No. 2157 is extended for three years, till August 16, 2016, and confirms that the solution StoneGate Firewall/VPN of version 5.3.1, is an information protection software and hardware, not containing the data which are the state secret, processed on the local computer networks with TCP/IP the protocol, from unauthorized access from external computer networks, and computer aids conform to requirements of regulating documents ".
