As a supplier of products for well-known fast food restaurants and supermarkets, the company faced high demands not only in terms of product quality, but also in terms of quantity, assortment and completeness of supplies.

Naturally, for the high-quality and fast operation of the warehouse, it was necessary to implement WMS, but the negative experience of using the previous system and the need to invest in the server infrastructure postponed this project into the distant future.

AXELOT has decided on a multi-tenant cloudy WMS. The global help in this was received from. RFRIT grant The result of these works was the emergence of LOGAREON WMS CLOUD, which was proposed to automate the warehouse logistics at Gipfel.

LOGAREON WMS is designed on the.Net Core platform and is built on the principle of a microservice architecture. This is not a monolithic application, it is a set of services, each of which is designed to perform a particular task - application, integration, user, reporting, equipment work, and so on - which allows you to increase the volume, speed and transparency of work performed by warehouse employees and opens up the opportunity to flexibly refine the system using plugins and microservices taking into account new requirements for WMS.

Naturally, the use of cloud WMS significantly reduces the capital costs of purchasing server hardware and software, as well as the operating costs of administering both servers and the system itself. The choice was made quickly enough and the teams got to work.

The management of the company decided, in addition to the warehouse of finished products, to automate the warehouses of cardboard, as well as raw materials and materials. In addition, for the acceptance and control of finished products from production, the Gipfel ARM service was implemented, which made it possible to record the time of acceptance and the number of pallets, this functionality is needed to go through the full technological cycle of freezing products after production.

Integration between ERP and WMS was carried out using the DATAREON ESB data service bus, and the use of standard exchange protocols significantly reduced the time and labor required to implement the exchange.

As a result of the project, the automation circuit includes 3 warehouses located in Podolsk, with a total area of ​ ​ 2,500 m2, operating in 24/7 mode and processing about 2,000 SKU. Gipfel significantly saved on the purchase and administration of equipment, and at the same time was able to increase the quality and speed of its production and warehouse complex.
