Denis Tsukanov was born on September 19, 1985 in Leningrad.

Education

In 2007 he graduated, graduated from the "Faculty of Economics" of St. Petersburg State University, specialty "economist-manager."

In 2010 he graduated from the Graduate School of St. Petersburg State University, "Faculty of Economics."

Career

2004-2012

In 2004, he began his career as Deputy Director for Economics and Finance of the construction organization Peterstroymetal LLC, St. Petersburg.

From 2007 to 2010, he served as Executive Director of OJSC Technopark of St. Petersburg.

From 2010 to 2012, he was the head of the department for strategic planning and monitoring of socio-economic development of the Committee for Economic Development, Industrial Policy and Trade of St. Petersburg of the Administration of St. Petersburg.

2012-2014

From 2012 to 2014, he served as Deputy Director of the IT Industry Development Department. Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Russia

In 2014, he became Deputy Director of the Department of Regional Industrial Policy and Project Management of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.

2022

From March 2022 to October 2022, he held the position of Director-Managing Partner of the Private Special Economic Zone of NMS Holding LLC, Stavropol.

From October 2022 to May 2023 he was Deputy Chairman of the Government of the DPR - Chief of Staff of the Government of the DPR.

2023: Appointment as Minister of Digital Development and Communications of the Omsk Region

In July 2023, it became known about the appointment of Denis Tsukanov as the new Minister of Digital Development and Communications of the Omsk Region. He replaced Andrei Klyuchenko, who was removed from office, according to the head of the region, Vitaly Khocenko, for improper performance of official duties, ignoring the requests of residents and questions from law enforcement agencies.

According to Khocenko, Denis Tsukanov is also endowed with the status of deputy chairman of the regional government "to fulfill the tasks and national goals of digital transformation that the Russian president sets for the regions."[1]
