2023: Developing a platform for the office ecosystem

Sibintek has developed a digital platform for the office ecosystem. The ready-made solution provides all the necessary functionality implemented on domestic software. The company announced this on July 28, 2023.

One of the main tasks of Rosneft in the development of IT services is to ensure the independence and stability of the functioning of all systems by replacing foreign software with domestic software.

Even before the publication of the instructions of the President of Russia on the transition to domestic software, Sibintek, together with the relevant divisions of Rosneft, was actively working on the selection of Russian IT solutions - said Denis Kriventsev, Director for Communications and Basic Infrastructure, Sibintek.

Sibintek's solution covers the complete list of required IT infrastructure components. From server hardware in the enterprise data center to basic office software, virtual desktops, and unified communications services, including mail, corporate chat, and IP telephony.

During the development of the Sibintek platform, special attention was paid not only to the information security and reliability of all infrastructure components, but also to the convenience of use for the end consumer.

It is extremely important that the transition to Russian software is as painless as possible and provides all the necessary functionality, "said Denis Kriventsev.

The operating system of workstations and servers of the Sibintek platform was Astra Linux 1.7, adapted for ease of use by company employees, including information security requirements. Solutions from domestic developers accredited by the Ministry of Digital Development were integrated as replacement products.
