The company Range"" ("subsidiary" "") Rostec developed the base stations of the standard LTE and began to supply this equipment to Russian telecom operators. This became known on August 9, 2023.

According to Kommersant, the Spectrum line includes base stations operating in the 800, 1800 and 2600 MHz frequency bands. Rostec noted that the devices are successfully integrated and work in the environment of base stations of other manufacturers. The Spectrum equipment is compatible and can interact with the existing equipment of mobile operators, the state corporation noted, adding that it is planned to refine the equipment and adapt it to the requirements of operators.

Spectrum has developed base stations

According to the publication, the Spectre base stations were received by IPTC Mobile (Voentelecom), which is testing equipment in Crimea. According to the interlocutor of the newspaper, Spektr was able to purchase components for about 60 base stations, a dozen were put on the test. The Ministry of Digital Development confirmed that VTK Mobile is testing Russian stations and plans to begin their commercial operation in Crimea in 2024.

An informed newspaper insider says that "Rostec"is trying to get a subsidy to compensate for the costs, as "they were three times higher than the market." The Ministry of Digital Development previously reported that they intend to subsidize equipment manufacturers if they attract comparable extrabudgetary funding.
