2023: MicroData Centers issue from 1.0 kW and 16 U to 25.5 kW and 74 U

On August 21, 2023, S3 Solutions updated its own MicroData Center line. The design electric IT load and capacity of the models in the basic version ranges from 1.0 kW and 16 U to 25.5 kW and 74 U, respectively.

S3 Solutions MicroData Center is a turnkey EDGE solution and does not require the user to calculate and select additional engineering systems. The high degree of protection of the building allows you to place it anywhere: from the pantry, office and trading floor to the warehouse and production site with an increased level of dust, excluding the long and expensive creation of specialized premises. The main customers are companies that need increased data security and continuous local access to computing power.

The first MicroData Center models, designed for IT power of 6 and 12 kW, were released by C3 Solutions in 2018. After analyzing user requests and the results of research on the EDGE solutions market, the company restarted the MicroData Center line. Each model is aimed at customers with different IT needs and different operating conditions.

The basis of any MicroData Center from C3 Solutions is 19 'constructive with a degree of IP55 protection. The basic version is equipped UPS with a battery module designed for uninterrupted power supply and minimal time autonomy of both IT equipment and air conditioning systems. The power distribution Block is designed for the appropriate electrical load and connection of the required number of consumers. The solution can be customized by increasing available free space, electrical load, and autonomy time. It is also possible integrate systems to monitor, control access, alarm, automatic gas fire extinguishing and provide for reservation power supply and air conditioning systems.

The air circulation in the MicroData Center is organized at the IT rack level without the participation of the surrounding room. The compact series is equipped with monoblock air conditioning: heat is released into the surrounding space, which imposes certain requirements on the volume of the room or ventilation system. Deployment: To get started, you just need to plug the MicroData Center into an outlet. The modular series allows you to easily scale the solution, but requires the installation of an external condenser unit (heat is emitted at its location), which allows you to install the MicroData Center in any, even the closest, space.
