On April 6, 2022, C3 Solutions shared with TAdviser the results of the 2021 fiscal year ended March 31, 2022, and the merger with New Technologies, which was announced in September 2021. According to the results of the reporting period, the combined company's revenue increased by 80% and reached 1.2 billion rubles, exceeding the planned result by 30%.

C3 Solutions and New Technologies completed the legal registration of the transaction: from January 1, 2022, the combined structure operates in the general financial and legal framework under the C3 Solutions brand, acting as a player in the Russian market for manufacturers of engineering, telecommunications and industrial equipment for data centers and other IT facilities.

In a few months, the companies built an organizational structure, integrated information systems, developed plans for capacity utilization and production development. One of the main outcomes of the merger was the formation of a product line: it included both old − optimized and new solutions. Among the new products − SCS, software for monitoring data centers, etc. These products have supplemented the existing portfolio, which includes proprietary solutions in the field of engineering infrastructure for data centers.

Until the end of 2022, the company holds the position of CEO of C3 Solutions Alexey Suvorov (former CEO of New Technologies). Maxim Kirkunov, who has led the company since its founding, continues to lead the combined structure as a founder, focusing his efforts on shaping the strategy, exploring new markets and products. In 2021, C3 Solutions received a state subsidy for R&D from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, which it directed to the creation of new models of BRP (power distribution units) and the development of new markets. In particular, the company began developing solutions for a "smart" city (video surveillance and stop modules) and microcircuits: it is planned to use Russian-made Baikal processors for their manufacture.

Russia has created a line of equipment for data centers to replace Schneider Electric

The manufacturer of domestic equipment for data centers, SiTri Solutions, has shown an updated line of its equipment, which now includes, in addition to mounting racks and UPS, cabinets for building micro-data centers, and SCS, and air conditioning systems, and even monitoring systems for climatic parameters of data centers. In general, the solutions developed by the company can already compete with the equipment of companies such as Schneider Electric (in 2022, Russian assets were sold to local managers, and the company was renamed Systeme Electric), Powercom, Delta Electronics and others.

Engineering equipment was demonstrated in mid-November at the C3 Solutions Fashion Engineering Night show, organized for the largest Moscow and regional integrators and distributors.

The new products demonstrated at the show were air conditioners with a power of 5.5 to 120 kW, made in the form of cabinets for installation in the data center, installation of in-row climatic equipment (their power varies from 12.5 to 62 kW) and models for cooling equipment right inside the racks. In the basic configuration, all of them come with an inverter compressor with heated crankcase, EEV, EU fans and PTS-tans. For easy control, an SNMP card, a phase control relay and a touch screen are installed in the climatic equipment. In this case, the external unit can be operated at temperatures from -40 ˚S to + 45 ˚S.

The company presented new models of uninterruptible power supplies with service support from SiTri Solutions. New solutions for protection against power outages will be able to ensure the continuity of industrial and production processes, prevent the failure of expensive equipment. The devices are designed for industrial enterprises, commercial and government organizations. They will complement the modular architecture already available in the UPS portfolio, focused on protecting server equipment in data centers.

In addition, SiTri Solutions has updated the line of power distribution units (PSUs). Two series of PM7000 and PS 7000 products have been released with a new monitoring module that allows you to control each outlet separately. In addition, the BRP series PM6000 built on the domestic Baikal processor - it is designed to build intelligent data centers in accordance with security requirements. Equipment of fully domestic production, be in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and can be used, among other things, for state customers and for critical information infrastructure facilities.

To control climatic and temperature conditions in data centers, the company has developed a specialized device - an Inline meter, which can be installed both in the mounting cabinet itself and on its case. This is a set of sensors that allow you to monitor both the power three-phase load and environmental parameters. Moreover, you can do this not only visually - on the built-in display, but also remotely - using special software.

In general, it can be noted that SiTri Solutions offers the maximum amount of equipment for both commercial and corporate data centers. Moreover, all iron components of Russian production, and electronics - including Chinese. The company's production facilities are located in Kostroma, Ryazan, Belgorod, Tashkent and Shenzhen.

At the event, SiTri Solutions also announced the improvement of its partner and pricing policies. The updated product line will enable partners to collaborate with SiTri Solutions in a single window, providing customers with the full range of engineering equipment they need.

Capacity expansion

S3 Solutions, a Russian manufacturer and supplier of engineering, telecommunications and industrial solutions, announced a systematic increase in production capacity on June 5, 2023. The new sites are equipped with modern equipment and are already operating in the Kostroma, Ryazan and Moscow regions.

The development of these sites began in 2022. As of the beginning of June 2023, they reached the desired design capacity. All sites produce the entire product line - telecommunications and industrial structures, server cabinets and racks, climatic equipment, electrical solutions and other products. The total number of employees involved in the new production sites is about 250 people.

As representatives of the company specified to TAdviser, all production moved to Belgorod back in 2022. In Shebekino, by the beginning of 2023, the company no longer had any production facilities. The production site, located in Belgorod, operates as usual.

The main motive for the transformation − business continuity, diversification of production in order to fulfill obligations to customers and partners. According to the calculations of S3 Solutions, the expansion will support the company's high growth rates and increased demand for its products, as well as evenly distribute the load on production facilities. Work at all sites is carried out in compliance with the quality standards and accepted technical standards of S3 Solutions.

Later, we decided to further reduce the load on Belgorod capacities and produce our products in the Kostroma, Ryazan and Moscow regions. An additional advantage of this step was the ability for us to optimize logistics flows in central Russia, since the facilities of many of our large customers are located there.

In the short term, companies will analyze both brands and choose one of them - one that has more marketing potential and recognition in the market. It is expected that in 2022 the composition of legal entities will lead to an optimal structure in accordance with market requirements.

The main goals of the merger are technological development, entry into new niches and support for high growth dynamics. The combined company intends to grow at a rate of at least 80% per year.

The merger opens up the possibility of deeper integration of solutions for the deal participants. In the coming months, experts from C3 Solutions and New Technologies will analyze their products for relevance and demand by customers and offer the market a product line that will take advantage of the products of both vendors. In the next two years, the combined structure plans to increase the area of ​ ​ its production capacities to 8 thousand square meters. meters and equip them with more relevant equipment, which will allow it to reach other volumes and expand the range of products.

The companies also combine partners and clients and bases that overlap slightly due to different specializations of the deal participants: C3 Solutions produces solutions for data centers, among the key customers of New Technologies - telecom companies. The created team plans to expand the portfolio of projects and customers, including commercial data centers, system integrators, telecom operators and end customers from various industries, as well as government agencies, as early as September 2021.
