2023: Building a Company

In early September 2023, it became known that the alcohol distributor Luding Group, the largest wine importer in Russia, created a joint venture with the water producer from Karachay-Cherkessia Dausuz.

According to the Kommersant newspaper, the head structure of the Luding Group and Dausuz-Aqua LLC, associated with the production of Dausuz water, was established by Dausuz Brand LLC. The main activity of this structure is the production of soft drinks, mineral and other bottled waters. Partners own 50% each in the new company. At the same time, the key owner of Dausuz-Aqua, Kristina Moskalets, owns 50% in Dausuz LLC, which owns the right to a brand and a license to extract water in Karachay-Cherkessia. The general director of "Dausuz Brand" Natalya Kohl at the same time heads LLC TD "Aqua-Dew," which is engaged in the spill.

Luding Group set up joint venture with water producer Dausuz

It is noted that the purpose of the formation of Dausuz Brand is to further promote the brand on the market. The fact is that Luding is already supplying Dausuz drinking mineral water, which is spilled directly at the source. In the Luding catalog, the corresponding products cost 54-57 rubles for 0.33-0.5 liters, taking into account the discount and about 100 rubles per 1 liter. The Dausuz brand is also sold in ABC Vkusa at a price of 106 rubles per 0.5 liter bottle (by the beginning of September 2023).

Market participants believe that Dausuz Brand expects to occupy a niche vacated after the departure of foreign suppliers from Russia against the background of the current geopolitical situation. In particular, Dausuz water can become a more affordable alternative to the products of European manufacturers. Moreover, participating in a joint venture, Luding can become a co-owner of the brand in exchange for investments. Dausuz structures plan to build a new water spill plant with a production volume of 33 million bottles per year on the territory of the advanced socio-economic development of Nevinnomyssk[1]
