ROSSKO is part of the national association GROUPAUTO RUSSIA. As of September 2023, the company employs about 9,000 people in 116 cities Russia and. Kazakhstan Rossko has its own logistic service, 247 warehouses, the company is represented by more than 100 brands, and its product portfolio includes 150,000 articles. The IT company's infrastructure includes 4 DPC and 1000. virtual servers

The rapid growth of the company and the increase in the number of accounts prompted ROSSKO to contact Softline Group of companies for an audit of the critical Active Directory infrastructure. Softline engineers offered to solve the client's problem using the Premier Services - services for proactive support of the IT infrastructure built on the basis of Microsoft products. The work was carried out in order to identify potential vulnerabilities affecting the stability of the system and its performance.

At Rossko, the directory service was managed at different times by different system administrators, which required checking for possible problems in the configuration of Active Directory and its systems. The audit was carried out using specialized Softline Assessment software and took only one week. The results of the technical audit revealed problems in the configuration of AD and its systems, as well as provide the client with a detailed report with recommendations for optimization. By following these recommendations, ROSSKO was able to improve system security, reduce resource consumption, and minimize business risks.

During the time that Softline Group of companies provides Premier Services, we have acquired high expertise in this area. We recommend auditing critical infrastructures, which include Active Directory, once every 2-3 years. This is because the directory service is constantly changing as the organization evolves, requiring regular change monitoring. ROSSKO is growing rapidly - the number of accounts over the past year has grown from 6 to 8 thousand. And given the distributed infrastructure of the client, the timely examination of AD was very useful. As part of the Premier Services, we conduct an audit in just one week using our specialized Softline Assessment software. Data collection takes place in advance, we receive full analytics about the current state of the infrastructure without interrupting the customer's business processes, - explained Alexander Khramov, Head of Business Development, Premier of Services, Softline Group of Companies.

The AD survey with the help of Softline engineers made it possible to determine the target state of the directory service of our organization, helped to understand what needs to be done to maintain proper performance and system performance. Now we plan to carry out such preventive measures regularly and not only for AD, but also for other critical systems - the Softline team has extensive experience in conducting such works, specialists are well acquainted with Microsoft's AD configuration practices and skillfully use the audit tool. Already in the process of the survey itself, we were able to improve the work of AD by following the proposal of engineers and fulfilling their recommendations on the configuration and configuration of system components. Based on the results of the report, a work plan was also outlined to eliminate other comments, which will allow us to reduce the risks of business continuity, "summed up Serik Adyrbayev, head of the infrastructure support and development department at ROSSKO.
