2025: The court recovered 1.6 billion rubles from the ex-owner of Bank AVB

The bankruptcy trustee of the former operator of the Vertical shopping and office center managed to bring the ex-beneficiary of the company Nikolay Taran to justice for the company's debts in the amount of about 1.6 billion rubles. The decision in December 2025 was made by the Arbitration Court of the Samara Region. Nikolay Taran controlled large regional assets - Bank AVB, the production holding "Rosskat," the shopping and office center "Vertical." 2021: Trust filed a lawsuit against the Ananyev brothers in the Avtovazbank case for 113 billion rubles

As it became known in early April 2021, the bank of non-core assets Trust"" filed a lawsuit against the brothers Ananyev in the AvtoVAZbank case. In addition to the former owners, the Promsvyazbank defendants are the ex-head of AvtoVAZbank Oleg Vdovin and the former shareholder, ex-chairman of the board of directors of AvtoVAZbank Nikolay Taran. As a result of the actions (inaction) of these persons, the financial condition of AvtoVAZbank significantly deteriorated, and therefore the Bank of Russia was forced to take measures to prevent its bankruptcy. The amount of losses is calculated according to the formula of paragraph 5 of Art. 189.23 of the Bankruptcy Law, - the press service of the Trust told the newspaper.

Bank Trust filed a lawsuit against the Ananyev brothers in the Avtovazbank case for 113 billion rubles

They also noted that the bank's requirements are related to the implementation by the defendants of financial schemes that have signs of fraudulent actions by issuing unsecured loans, as well as loans with significantly insufficient security. As a result, funds were withdrawn from Promsvyazbank.

The rights to the issued loans were assigned to Avtovaz Bank, the press service reported. The latter was previously a member of the PSB group, and then, together with her, ended up in reorganization. As a result, in 2019, its assets switched to the balance sheet of Trust. Based on a conservative estimate, the amount of losses from schemes in PSB amounted to more than 267 million euros.

Earlier, Trust, through the court, recovered more than 6 billion rubles from the Cypriot company Arovan Trading Limited. This is the company's debt on a loan that it took from Promsvyazbank. He subsequently transferred the rights of claim to AvtoVAZbank.[1]

2019: Completion of accession to Trust Bank

On March 11, 2019, it became known that Bank Trust had completed the accession of Avtovazbank. The carrying amount of assets transferred to the bank of non-core assets amounted to 340 billion rubles.

This transaction completed the consolidation of the assets of the banks being rehabilitated on the balance sheet of Trust. Taking into account the previously transferred non-core assets of the Otkritie group, including the assets of Binbank, Trust and Growth Bank, their total value reached 2 trillion rubles.

Avtovazbank clients switched to service at Trust Bank. All obligations and claims arising from contracts concluded earlier in AvtoVazbank remain in force[2].

2018: Central Bank decided to sanitize Avtovazbank through the Banking Sector Consolidation Fund

The Bank of Russia has entrusted the functions of the interim administration of Avtovazbank to the Banking Sector Consolidation Fund (FCBS) since April 5.

Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank Vasily Pozdyshev in 2017 stated that Avtovazbank needs additional capitalization in the amount of no more than 15 billion rubles, writes Kommersant.

Promsvyazbank at the end of March 2018 demanded through the court to cancel the cession transaction between AvtoVazbank and the previously related PSB bank Vozrozhdenie. Thus, the interim administration of the PSB represented by the Criminal Code of the Central Bank of the Central Bank disputes the transactions concluded by the former management of the credit institution with close structures.

2015

Since 2015, the functions of the interim administration in AvtoVazbank  have been performed by Promsvyazbank (PSB), which since December 2017 has been undergoing financial recovery through the FCBS.
