2025: Hacking a company by hackers

On December 11, 2025, information appeared about a cyber attack on the infrastructure of the Mikord software company related to the creation of a single digital register of military accounting. The corresponding statement was distributed by an anonymous hacker group.

According to the attackers, they have been on the company's systems for several months. As a result, access was obtained to the source code of the software, technical documentation and internal correspondence of employees. Hackers also claim that they managed to destroy part of the Mikord infrastructure.

According to the portal "Computerra," information about the incident was originally published on the social networks of the organization "Go Forest" (its founder is recognized as a foreign agent). The fact of a cyber attack in an interview with reporters was confirmed by the director of Mikorda Ramil Gabdrakhmanov, indicating that such attacks happen to many organizations.

Work on the creation of a single digital register of military registration began by decision of the authorities in April 2023. The general executor of the project in February 2024 was determined by Rostelecom. The full launch of the system took place in the fall of 2025.

According to Kommersant, the Ministry of Defense issued a refutation of information about the compromise of the resource. Military officials said publications about the hack were untrue. According to the Ministry of Defense, the system operates normally, and the leakage of personal data of citizens is excluded.

The department stressed that the register was repeatedly subjected to cyber attacks, but all of them were successfully reflected. The security of the information, according to the statement, is ensured in full.

The official website of Micord remains unavailable as of December 11, 2025. It contains a message about technical work.^[1][2]
