According to the results of a study of import substitution processes at system-forming enterprises and organizations of critical information infrastructure (CII), published in January 2023 by the information security developer SearchInform, only 3% and 1.7% of companies, respectively, replaced foreign operating systems and DBMSs with domestic ones. The main difficulty of migration is the compatibility of new solutions with current software and equipment.
System software is the most difficult to replace, analysts at SearchInform say. Indeed, large companies have introduced a large number of various software, and for a successful transition to Russian products, it is necessary not only to replace system and infrastructure software, but also to finalize application solutions so that they work on domestic platforms.

For example, a "single window" of technical support with a single SLA for the entire solution, short periods of deployment of the solution at the customer's site, perfectly tested, pre-configured and optimized at the hardware and software plant, says Alexander Sysoev.

| In support of the above, based on the results of testing PAC Skala^r, the following distinctive characteristics and indicators of complexes can be distinguished: from a technological point of view, PAC shows a double performance advantage over solutions using comparable hardware by optimizing I/O and a specialized storage subsystem architecture. When testing with systems in a virtual environment on comparable hardware, PAC Skala^r were four times more productive. An important feature of high-load systems is the speed of data backup and recovery - this is solved with a specialized built-in module, which reduces backup and recovery time by four times, and site recovery after a complete failure is six times faster. Using examples of complex projects in dozens of Machines, savings of up to 105 million rubles can be achieved even before the start of the support stage. At the moment, PAC is in the legal field, and we perfectly see the market trend in standardizing such an entity, which in the future will have a positive impact on the criteria for purchasing solutions, procurement procedures, as well as the fulfillment of indicators for the transition of customers to the Russian technology stack by 2025. Summing up, it can be noted that PAC is a set of indicators: financial, technological, regulatory, as well as legislative. He expects that after the "legalization" by the regulator of software and hardware systems in the register of domestic software, the number of new PACS will sharply increase. Moreover, some will be ready-made high-quality solutions and, indeed, will be able to seamlessly integrate into any customer infrastructure, while others will have to "twist" during integration.

| For PACS of the second type, you will need to "pay" with a separate integration project, says Denis Bozhenko. - But solutions from manufacturers that will find a balance between specific customer requirements and versatility will be most popular.

This means that for those customers who really need a guaranteed "indposhiv" with the quality of a serial product, PAC is a wonderful opportunity to get it directly from the "factory," and not collect threads, fabrics and fittings separately.

| Strengthening such interaction seems to be a completely logical step, - explains Natalia Sofronova, - for example, this is exactly what happened now on our example in the field of cooperation with our partners in existing Machines and continues to grow, as the ecosystem around PAC increases. The existence of such a separate entity as PAC and the approval of tax incentives and subsidies will be an additional economic incentive for cooperation and partnership work on a variety of types of PACS.

All this leads to the fact that the connection of the PAC manufacturer with the market, which is still an integral part of product development, under pressure from the growing requests of customers to replace specific foreign IT solutions becomes even more dense.
