2023: PIX RPA Platform Solution Implementation

On September 27, 2023, the First Bit company announced that it had migrated and continues to develop software robots at the AKRIKHIN pharmaceutical company. As part of the project, the First Bit company, the Sportivnaya office, imported more than 20 software robots from the UiPath platform to the PIX RPA.

AKRIKHIN has been using software robots on the UiPath platform since 2020, betting on mastering digital technologies and improving operational efficiency. From the point of view of the solution architecture, digital "employees" worked centrally and solved problems at the company level, and did not act as simple assistants to individual users. In total, the company used more than 30 robots, and almost two dozen more robotization tasks were in the development queue.

After the vendor left UiPath Russian IT market AKRIKHIN, he was looking for domestic a solution suitable for functionality - it became the PIX platform. RPA The general contractor for the implementation was ITintegrator the "First Bit," which implemented the project in import substitution four months and continued to work on the support and implementation of robots.

The transition to PIX RPA took place in stages. IT, together with key users, determined the priority of each robotic process and actually lined up robots for import substitution: from the most critical business operations in terms of continuity to those that users were ready to temporarily take over. Prioritization was hot: in all the units involved, robots have already become an integral part of daily work.

As a result, it was possible to transfer all three blocks of robotic processes in AKRIKHIN to another platform on time: accounting, commercial logistics and regulatory supervision. For accountants, robots load bank statements, form reconciliation acts with suppliers and customers, conduct advance reports, make payments on invoices and much more. For commercial logistics specialists, invoices are made when products are capitalized, inventory balances are checked in ERP and WMS systems and other data and materials are prepared. For pharmacodnasdor and the medical department - carefully check the updates on the regulator's website and notify about the news that require action from AKRIKHIN. All this noticeably frees employees from the routine and allows them to focus on decision-making, as well as neutralize the risk of manual errors.

Together with specialists from the First Bit company, AKRIKHIN imported software robots from UiPath to PIX RPA. The project was very dense, and we risked not having time to transfer all robots the Russian ON to before the end of the UiPath license. They actively managed the expectations of business users, worked out plans B. However, migration took only four months, and the continuity of robotic processes was preserved. If we talk about robotization in general, for our company it has become litmus when piece of paper looking for points for optimizing a number business processes of solutions IT. In many ways, robots have changed the approach of colleagues to digital tools and significantly improved the lives of employees,

It was important for us to preserve the capabilities implemented on the previous UiPath platform, and not all domestic products allowed this. Based on PIX RPA, it was possible to maintain the functionality familiar to the business. Separately, I note the high involvement of the vendor and integrator: of course, we faced technical difficulties, but we were promptly advised and released patches,
explained Ilya Khudyakov, manager of business process automation at AKRIKHIN.

Our RPA team has a wealth of experience migrating from foreign platforms to PIX RPA. In this project, we used the PIX Converter component, which used robot code on UiPath, analyzed it, and then reformatted it to fit the structure of PIX RPA robots. This helped our team quickly migrate all robotic processes in a short time and begin to robotize business tasks,
noted Samir Ilyasov, Head of BI and RPA Development at First Bit.
