UiPath is an RPA platform for software robotization of processes. UiPath provides an intelligent and multifunctional development environment for automation in any industry.
2021: UiPath Platform 21.4 with Automation Ops
On May 21, 2021, UiPath announced updated features and products that empower enterprises to successfully scale and manage their automation initiatives. The UiPath Platform 21.4 release supports large-scale and complex automation programs with powerful ways to increase business value, simplifying control and accelerating ROI.
In version 21.4, UiPath launches Automation Ops, a cloud-based web application that allows administrators to quickly configure policies for users and automation developers. With Automation Ops, organizations can manage large deployments of the UiPath Studio family of products and accompanying software robots.
The UiPath platform uses artificial intelligence and allows you to detect automation capabilities that have the greatest impact on the most important key business performance indicators. 21.4 offers a Task Mining solution that uses machine learning models to identify the most frequent task templates based on data and identify repetitive activities that can be automated without interrupting employees. At the same time, Automation Hub integrates advanced process analysis tools that allow users to identify and implement automation that instantly improves performance and helps achieve goals faster.
Release 21.4 provides a range of services, tools, and capabilities that provide customers with more opportunities to migrate, build, manage, and measure enterprise-scale automation in the cloud. UiPath Automation Cloud software robots provide automated robots as needed, without any infrastructure or control required by customers.
UiPath simplifies and extends the user interface for all users from 21.4.
The combination of the intellectual analysis of processes and tasks to automation provides higher value and better automation, especially as the companies expand scales, scales and coverage of automation, - Maureen Fleming, the program vice president of IDC for researches in the field of intellectual process automation shared. - As business professionals are increasingly involved in the development of automation, effective methodologies and best practices are needed along with end-to-end policy-based management. |
UiPath Task Mining was able to identify eight processes that occurred more than 5000 times when testing the concept in Paychex. Applied to the entire department annually, this single Task Mining project allowed us to understand one third of the team's work. The ability to easily view variations, visually normalize data, and identify and search for optimal processes from within a task mining application, which distinguishes UiPath from the market, "commented Cassie Dunn, Paychex Business Process Improvement Manager, a provider of comprehensive human resources SaaS solutions. |
2019: Platform Description
The UiPath platform interacts with other IT systems through the user interface, simulating the end-user, unlike traditional computer programs that work through the API (Application Programming Interface) or the integration bus (Middleware).
The UiPath Platform solution allows you to robotize almost any user actions on your computer, minimizing the human factor. The robot is able to work 24/7 without holidays and sick leave, which allows you to quickly recoup the cost of implementation.
Structure of the platform (as of June 2019):
- UiPath Studio
- Allows you to configure robots using highly intuitive tools (without programming), action writers, Drag & Drop widgets, templates.
- Robot
- robot UiPath Attendend robot delivers high performance with front office automation applications.
- The UiPath Unattendend robot is designed to automate large volumes of back-office operations in batch mode.
- UiPath Orchestrator
- A robotic server architecture platform that supports management, centralized logging, reporting, auditing, and monitoring, remote management, and planning.
Opportunities:
- Information collection, verification and verification
- Interaction and support of users and clients
- Recording and transmission of information and data
- Coordinate and manage the actions of robots and humans
- Training and predicting behavior and outcome
- Synthesis and analysis of structured and unstructured data
- Track, define, and notify performance metrics
- Calculation of position and value and/or decision based on rules[1]
